How did you first end up at the escapist?

Doubt yahtzee gets alot of pay, hes on the other side of the world of the escapist staff.

He gets all his games free tho. But he does alot of work "play" to review games.'

He probably makes more on his side projects, T-shirts, oddworld book etc, casts for other people and stores etc.

If he had his own page with lots of ads on for weekly vids then he could start rivaling the google empire /joke

Links on TV Tropes [http://tvtropes.org/] combined with a plug from a Game Overthinker episode and finally deciding to see what all the fuss about Zero Punctuation was about. Do you have any idea how many pages at TV Tropes quote Yahtzee? No? Me neither, but he certainly appears on a lot of them.

The feature which has really been holding my attention lately is actually Extra Credits. I think it was wanting to comment on one of those videos which finally persuaded me to sign up.

I go to a website called Newgrounds, and an old episode of Unforgotten Realms was front-paged and I became a fan. Then I noticed Mike (The guy who makes them) never posted any new episodes of UR, so I checked out his website, and, to my suprise, he was remaking his series on the Escapist. So....here I am.

Well, I was first linked here because of some interesting article that I read and promptly forgot about the site. Then I came back later for zero punctuation. though I somehow heard about it by his second episode here. I still wasn't very frequent, I pretty much only showed up to watch the videos. Then march madness rolled around, and I still didn't register to the forums, because I didn't care, and its not like I'd use the account to post anyway, since I'm quite content lurking. Then the next march madness came around a year later, and I registered because I didn't want turbine to win again, and because I was frequenting the site daily by then. And then I had maybe 8 posts total for like forever (lurker, remember), and now I somehow have over 100 though I still don't post very much.

Edit: holy crap, over 200! since when?

Someone posted a link to a ZP review on the Gamespot forums. Almost a year ago I think and been watching them ever since, just got an account about a month ago though.
