I say we get Guillermo del Toro, would be a better if the story involved Chaos, that way we know we will not just get the Chaos Marine with him, but the whole contingent of chaos demons, and he would also be more likely to have a story that involve a Tzeentch or Slaanesh chapter, more then about any other choice. =pboondoggler23 said:I'd rather have a director like Peter Jackson make a movie like that, and I also feel like it would have to be a lot like the LOTR trilogy. In my opinion that way people get a real feel for the world and the atmosphere. and also so they can incorporate every race because i would be very upset if they dident have necrons and other less appreciated factions in the movie.

For a proper Imperial Guard movie, I say we get Jean-Jacques Annaud, director and writter of "Enemy at the Gate", Bay would be way too American in his portrayal and try to put some value in the life of a guardsman instead of having an officer corps with proper "motivation" skill.vallorn said:let him make it about the Imperial Guard. plenty of splosions there!Radelaide said:We don't. I only chose Khorne because I want a bloody death. Maybe Nurgle would be more suitable seeing how most of MB's movies make you feel sick!Smitty6166 said:@sojoez i think khorne might actually reject that offering and send krannak so he can beat the idea out of you.
But yeah I agree with everyone here GW SHOULD NEVER EVER IN A MILLION+1 YEARS! let Micheal Bay near the 40K universe.
there are some other directors that could do ALOT better with the materials that exist in the 40K universe.
as for actors i dont know Vin Deisle only coz he plays D&D so he'd get the space marine idea, other than that i'm too tired to think of who we could have.
And even then, the forces of chaos, Tyranids, Space Marines etc would all be largely ignored in the midst of their epic battle to focus on a small group of insignificant Imperial guards.gCrusher said:Trouble is, we'd see a young male protagonist trying to get with an attractive female protagonist with a mediocre plot that stretches way too long, and only then would we get the big-time battles and explosions.
No thanks.
