How do you answer the phone?

Usually a monotonous "Hullo?".
Unless I know who it is then I'll answer more like "Hey, name".

If it's early in the morning, which is anywhere between 5am and 11am, I'll usually answer with a whiny "Whaaaaaaat?" or "Evenin'".

Normally, I answer with "Hello" or "Yes?".

If it's family, and it's getting late, I'll be snappy and say "Whaddyawant, eh?".

With my girlfriend it's "Bryan McCulley's phone, Bryan speaking." For everyone else, it's just hello, hey, what's up douche (for a certain friend), or something to that extent.

Depends what I'm answering.

If it's my mobile, I usually just say, "Hello?" Apparently, I sound like I'm surprised I'm getting a call when I answer. Usually because I am.

When I'm answering the phone at work, I have to do a small speech. "Hello, [my store] where you can trade in your old games for new/now pick up Ghostbusters/we have 25% off pre-owned games, Sarah speaking, how can I help?" The number of people that hang up after the first word is staggering. But mystery shoppers look out for that sort of thing.

"This is Snake." In a really grainy voice.

Most of the time it happens to be: "Hello?"

I usually just say "Hello". Except to certain friends, to them I say "Yo".
