This has bothered me for some time now. I'm sure you've all experienced it. You go to buy a used game and it is only the disc. It doesn't come with the case or the manual. Just the disc.
How does this happen? How do you "lose" the case? The manual I can understand a little more (but just leave it in the case when you aren't using it!) but the case? How does that work?
I had a friend who worked in a used game store and he said that he'd even heard of people just throwing away the case. This is something else I don't understand. Why would you do that?
So that is what I ask you, Escapist. How do you lose the case? Why would you even throw it away?
I can't be the only one that is annoyed to no end by this. When I buy a used game, I don't want just the disc. I guess that's one of the cons to buying used, but it still doesn't make sense to me. Leave the disc in the case and when you trade in the game, include the case with it. Maybe to some people it just isn't that easy, though. Or something like that.
