Very well said. I'm also impressed by your monkey dust avatar, I miss that show alot.jono793 said:Hopefully most people will have the presence of mind and social aptitude to do something other than sit on their backside playing Dragon Age while their neglected other half weighs the pros and cons of the relationship! I've learned that being a "Gamer" doesn't mean you have to be a one-note hybrid of man and console. Just as well, because it isn't a paticularly attractive motif to adopt!
The best advice I can give is to keep the controller out of the relationship; find things she enjoys and do them together. If she's also into gaming then all the better, but don't use that as an excuse to avoid doing other things too.
Oh yeah me and my girl do L4D and half-life. When we first starting dating and I was away at college, we used to team up online in half-life servers and kick ass. She even had her name as "Budgy's Girl" too good!x0ny said:She plays with me, that's how. muhahahaha. We used to play WoW together, but since we quit, we've been playing lots of L4D, CS, and Borderlands.
No shame. I'm 16, never asked a girl out, and I would bet money that at 19 I'll be right there with ya.Onyx Oblivion said:What girlfriend?
