Just out of interest. I've seen a number of people have been banned on these forums, but when I follow the link to the page which was the reason for the ban there doesn't seem to be anything incriminating. What are the standards like here?

Bit of porn here, bit of flaming there... a concerted effort could leave you with much of the evening still free, I reckon.

Just type up a few post consisting entirely of "cake" or something.

Another question I've always wondered about is: how do you go about being un-banned?

The irony of it would cause a rip in the very fabric of time and space.
Or something like that.
I slept through that class.

It's actually quite hard, you have to build up a reputation and get suspended at least once.

Or post a thing advertising a vibrator. That's the easy way.
Single events can get bannage. Fish food carl was a model user (ish) until he threw a hissy fit at the mods. Straight into ban territory.

well, if your obviously a spam bot or something, then you'll get banned very quickly.

If you seem human though, then the mods are a little bit more lenient - ever say "first!" in a video though, and you'll be suspended immediately. It happens EVERYTIME a new ZP video comes up.

Other than that, its relatively tricky to be perma-banned, so long as you aren't blatantly trolling.

It's easy not to get perma-banned.

It's also easy TO get banned, just be a dick consistently and it will happen eventually.

People who you see that have been banned for something seemingly inoccuous in fact have a very, very long history of being dicks, and the post that "got them banned" was either the timy "straw that broke the camel's back" or it was just an irrelevant post that has nother to do with their ban and they were about to get banned anyway for some other group of posts.

As funny as that would be, I don't think anyone would try it. Maybe an extremely epic troll.

By the way, this is bugging me. What the heck is your avatar of?

If the post is not immediately obvious (posting NSFW images or blatant trolling, for example) and the mod did not leave behind a note, you should assume it's for a long history of offenses.
