Well lets see I'll do this in 2 sections...

Personally - Keep it for steady relationships that have potential to last "forever" (unless you've had a dry spell for like a year then a 'fling' is acceptable)

Pop Culture - Selling things on sex appeal just proves how emotionally immature the world is, I know looks counts for a lot when we look at say a CD cover.

If Pop Culture was my way they would have to play all their so called "music" behind a screen on ACOUSTIC with no backing tracks or modifications of ANY sort. That would truly separate the talent from the poseurs. My rules for music "If it can't be played clean and still sound good, it's not music"

But yes, sex, keep it serious.

I don't know how. I actually witnessed the consuming of the birth control. The condom did not break. Let's face it, I have Superman sperm.
If you're serious, that's the type of situation that should only be possible statistically. The kind of statistics that stuffy mathematics professors mull over when they're not busy naming obscure facets of raw logic after themselves.

Did you defile an Indian burial ground, or something?

Anythings possible. I used to live in a place that was full of Indian burial grounds and let's face it, cocaine is a hell of a drug ;)

Okay, my confidence in modern contraceptives has been restored, somewhat.

I have an odd way of choosing someone to go after whether it just be for sex or an actual relationship. She doesn't have to be the prettiest girl in the room or the smartest, she just has to spark my interest. That is something harder then you may expect. Getting a "normal" girl is as easy as going to the corner store. I want something different or at least memorable from the opposite sex. I guess that makes me picky but not in the general sense being they need to have a certain look. Sex is important to me on a physical level, I need release, on an emotional one not so much. If I love you I love you, personally sex doesn't strengthen or weaken it but I will take it very seriously if the other party does as well.

Well then, by your reasoning I was hit by lightning WHILE getting eaten by a shark WHILE in the desert.
You're going to have to explain the situation in more than hyperbolic metaphors before I can accept that. If you paired hormonal birth control pills with condoms, without forgetting to take pills or jabbing holes in the condoms, then pregnancy shouldn't... happen. The chance of sperm getting past a condom at the same time that the pill will, for some unlikely reason, not work, is absurdly negligible. The only fathomable explanation is gross human error.

Or as I prefer to say it (in large ham voice)

And none of that has anything to do with sex...

Well, sex can be different things at different times. I won't really talk about my own relationship, but sex can be all the way from loving and beautiful to violent and destructive.

Then answer the question in yes/no terms, based on if you had the oppurtunity with a suitable female (or male if thats your game). There is no need to make this into a quantum physics equation.

Simple answer is?

...But yes, sex, keep it serious.

Are you for serious? To quote Woddy Allen, it's the most fun you can have without laughing. Ok I know i'm out there in terms of sexual experience, but sex and love are two very different things, and should not be confused for each other. Also, there is nothing wrong with two consenting adults enjoying the pleasures that that can bring to each others bodies. I'm so tired of this backwards thinking from people that have obviously never had a euphuric sexual experience trying to preach to those that have about its bad merits.

As for immature, no. You're the immature one to think that. Go out and get some experience before making such claims on something you obviously haven't experienced before. And I don't mean you haven't had sex, I mean you haven't had great sex, or you can't give great sex to a woman.

Bottom line is, none of us would be here reading, posting and all that, if our parents hadn't had sex. Sex is what bought all of us into this world, and then to this point, and don't think there weren't a lot of practice sessions going on before then.

Well, that's the point, that I can't answer in yes/no terms. Sex can be important or unimportant depending on the realtionship and circumstances. A couple can have a great realtionship without sex making it unimportant for them. Others might need it to justify why they're even together. I don't think it's as easy as "sex is important: agree/disagree".

Also...quantum physics equation...if anything I would think it might open a philosophical discussion (not that it was my intention) but this has nothing to do with physics.

Eh, sex is a non-entity kinda thing to me.
Being nonsexual, it has no place in my thoughts. I take up the mountains of time that this frees for me with games, books, friends, and fan-fiction.
Speaking of which, Shinji Ikari just returned from a little test, time to read on. Again.
