2008...or just a couple of weeks ago...but that one was a more of liberal interpretation of it.

Both were to movies (Scott Pilgrim for the one a few weeks ago if anyone cares and Prince Caspian for the 2008 one :p) but whoever said that a movie was a good place for a date was wrong.

No privacy and if you try to move you disturb everyone around you...but that's what I think >_>

My last date was....... a month ago I think. I'd recently finished a long term relationship (9 and a bit months) so I wasn't in the mood for relationships, still not in the mood for them. It wasn't a date really, we were both going to the same house party so we went together, spent fair amount of time with her, both got drunk and had a little "fun". It was a great night.

Now, now... do we need to sic "natural causes" on ya?
I'm not sure how to take this so I give you this chance to explain what you mean by this before I become sad at your ambiguous comment.

Yes, that was a bit unclear I was referring to this: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.235986-Guys-Ive-had-enough

Go ask out that girl you like. Please, do it now. If she says yes, dance; if she says no, get over it; if she says nothing, crack a bad joke. Why can't you just do it?

Not just 'gamer guys' are lonely.

((Apologies for coming off as depressed or whiny. That's never me; except tonight, for some reason...))
just look at her ( natural causes ), and now go punch yourself in face repeatedly.

and maybe read the thread, it should encourage you considerably.

When was JFK shot,1963 right? That has nothing to do with my love life(which is abysmal) I just couldn't remember if it was '63 or '64.I've never had a date because I'm awkward around regular people and even worse around girls I like though I'm hoping to break though that soon.

No opportunity for conversation, if the movie sucks it doesn't matter if she's the girl of your dreams and you're the guy of hers, it's going to derail any chance of making a connection, and unless the film was very thought-provoking it's not going to spark a lot of conversation in and of itself. I never take dates to the movies unless I've been with the girl for quite awhile and we're in the "hey, _____ movie is out, wanna go see it?" assumed-date stage of the relationship.

For earlier/first dates, I love coffee shops and picnics in the park (which always seem to end with making out in the grass). Back when I lived on the East Coast, dates that started at 3 AM and ended up on the beach in time for sunrise were always a hit.

(edit: And JFK was shot on November 22, 1963. Axl Rose's first memory. He went numb when he learned to see.)

Oh well in that case I think it's time to do a little online stalking... ok I was just kidding... or was I? Ok, off to my lonely corner now, where I will worry about people taking my creepy little joke seriously.

Never been on a date.

What's stopping me? I'm not much of a people person. I don't think I could handle a relationship. And it seems I am not capable of falling in love with people.

I guess around a year ago.

Does it still count as a date if she was already my girlfriend?

About 4 weeks ago, tooke her to see a movie, followed by a meal and finally a walk by the docks. Quite romantic in my opinion :)

The man knows his stuff.
And since I've failed on two occasions to get another date after that, movies are defiantly out.

But the East Coast sunrise sounds like one of those dream dates X3

Now? (she's laying in the Bed).

I'm single at the moment and I intent to stay for, at least the rest of the year, since I've got enough stress already and any serious relation would fail miserably.
I've got some really close female friends, which I love but would never date.
And when I've got the need for sex/romantic , I get me simply a "one"-night stand or find me a nice girl for a date.
I may sound like a douchebag now, but it works for me.

But you never know.
Maybe I'm in a dedicated relation in a few weeks...
...what I strongly doubt.
