My most recent date was to my high school's homecoming dance about 7 years ago. I hang out with people a lot, but not usually one-on-one. Furthermore I think that the other person may have interpreted some more recent goings-on as dates, but I didn't think of them as such. So, yeah... 7 years.

Broke up a while ago, I probably let it go on a little longer than I should have, I had to meet the parents too and we'd only been going out like...3 weeks?

I felt really bad about it, he was probebly looking for somthing long...long term, I realised that Im just too heartless for a relationship and going to the movies is much easyer on your own, I certianly don;t feel like going on any dates anytime soon

and I still haven't given back his Ps2
You cold hearted *****, you still have his ps2? Way to ruin his life.
Just kidding, I bet you had your reasons.
OT: My last date was a couple weeks ago, nothing came of it.

Never been on a date. Only person I've ever really liked lives 10 000 kilometers away from here, which is a bit of a problem as far as being together goes. Oh well, it's just a matter of time... A year and a half, or something like that... =p

My last proper date was over four years ago.

But I have another proper date scheduled for next week. I've been out meeting girls, it's great! Even when they say no, you just get over it and move onto the next one.

In sales they have a technique called the law of averages - you ring up one hundred people in the hopes of getting just three sales. The more people you ask, the more people are likely to buy what you're selling. In this case you're selling your love and affection and penis/vagina.

Plus the more people you ask, the more practice you get. It's taken me near enough ten years (since I reached 'dating age' and started to notice that girls didn't seem so icky anymore) to figure this out, and it seems so obvious now.

Even if you do make a total ass out of yourself on your first impression, there are women that will respond to that - case in point, myself. Looking like an ass has snagged me a drinks and movie date at my flat with a cute girl.

So it can work. Even if you have your 'one and only soul mate' who might go out with you one day, get out there and ask people out. It's great fun.

Never.

Several reasons: My face (ahh!), my screwed up sexuality (disturbing fetishes and lack of sex drive), my weird habits, my lack of athletic ability (bad depth perception), glasses, and finally, I'm too nervous. Of rejection, of the girl laughing at me. Of something like that.

I mean, I had a nervous breakdown ordering a cheeseburger at McDonalds from a somewhat attractive girl. I'm not Michael Cera awkward, I'm unable to function in normal society awkward.

Never happened. I'm the one everyone deemed to be stupid and insane (seriously) because he makes decent end labels for N64 games and buys old games and consoles off ebay. I'm also very snarky, cynical and condescending to people I don't like, which covers most of the female demographic.

An actual date? Probably about 6 weeks ago... Then again it was my first wedding anniversary so a date was... well important. My wife and I don't go on 'dates' too often. They're expensive and if we plan on going out for dinner and a movie or whatever then we'll almost always invite a couple of friends along too.

∞ years ago.

Simply, never been on one.
Why?
All the people that I would WANT to take on a date are taken.
Why?
Because I'm awkward around them.
Actually, I'm awkward around EVERYONE.
Um, this.

Lack of self-confidence to actually work on myself does not help either.

I'm not sure if this counts but 2 months ago me and my best-freind (who fancied me at the time, she's a girl as well) went to the cinema and the park.

Not sure if it counts, but it was fun!

5 months ago..damn, has it really been that long? When my last girlfriend dumped me out of the blue towards the end of may (This is the third failed relationship I've had in high school) I decided I needed a break over the summer from woman and their maddeningness. Um, tried to start up a fling with one girl in august, that didn't work, probably could've gone about that situation better. And yeah I've been a bit of an introvert this first month of school. I don't know why it's so hard for me to talk to girls I find attractive, especially when I'm kicking myself later at a bunch of missed opportunities. I've done it before, so I don't know why I can't now. Fuck fear.

We don't 'date' much in England. Me and my boyfriend live together, so we don't really go on dates as such.
We went to see Scott Pilgrim about a month or two ago, and went for a meal for our anniversary.

Wednesday evening. Very odd affair, then very wondeful, then ended in enormous complication. Great while it lasted.

Since arriving at university I suddenly found myself in a relationship and can't really explain when/how it started. Not that I'm complaining, OT my last date was on wednesday, just went round to hers and watched a couple of films in bed :)
