My record is two and a half days during the summer. Insomnia is a kinda double-edged sword.

i've only gone 48 hours, without coffee or too much soda either, but I really don't feel the need to go longer than that. that one time was just for a surprisingly large LAN party/ 40K thing.

I have done 52 hours before, but I was not great at the end of it. I didn't drink coffee or energy drinks back then either, but that didn't stop me being stupidly jittery for a couple of days afterwards.

I once was more or less wasted for 36 hours straight. It was the only time I've ever drank in moderation, but that was only so I wouldn't pass out at 11 pm as I usually do. But yeah, the basics of it was that we drank, went to the sauna, did some waterskiing, swimming etc. Then ate and drank coffee, drank more, sat about for a while, went to the sauna again, swam some more. Basically like that the whole 36 hours. Some didn't make it and passed out at around the 18 hour mark, but they got up and started going again after a few hours. I slept for roughly a 20 hours per day for a week after that.

Most adults called us idiots, others called us heroes. Hot damn it was fun though.

52 hours >without any caffeine<. (wow! he must big a big manly man-person!)
just a regular 1 week holiday, 2 years ago when i still played WoW. (guess that proves the manliness theory wrong)

Right now I have broken my record - I'm in my 49th hour and I am aiming for 50! So I was wondering how long any of you have stayed up before.
Yeah, some kid did stayed up for 3 days playing WoW I think it was, and died from heart failure. So...good luck with that.

The only reason I ever need to stay up after 12 is to do something I don't think I'm allowed to mention on here...

5 days, give or take a few hours.

3 day party with some friends from uni, followed by a 2 day pen&paper RPG session.

Not an experience I ever care to repeat. I went totally postal on my best friend who was running the RPG session, claiming that he'd been paid off by the gnolls. I had to be restrained by other members of the group until our cleric started yelling for everyone to fall back so he could ressurrect me.

Sleep deprivation does scary things to your mind.

Ah yes my copy of Collectors Edition of Final Fantasy XII can in the mail.

Clocked in about 40 hours on it.

Most times new games ship in to me and I know they will be long I keep playing till I don't even know I'm not awake anymore.

2 days, give or take an hour or 2.
Afterwards I slept 2 straight days.
Which, might sound like it would have been fun, actually wasn't, I was so sore, couldn't move my neck for like 4 hours.

Two nights, three days. From morning on day one to late evening on day three, it was like 60 something, but by the end I was basically living in a hallucinatory fever dream.

Very fun though, good ideas for writing things.

I'd say around 52 hours? Was when I graduated from secondary school, I felt like I deserved a party. Turned out to be the best weekend of my life. Too bad I was basically in a coma on Monday.
