Wow, what a shock, we're on a gaming forum and a large number of people said "One is too many." I would never have guessed that would happen. Way to avoid stereotyping yourself guys!

Anyway, avoiding arguments of overpopulation (which are wrong as the average family size in first world countries is now less then 2, which means as soon as the previous generations die the population will start to decrease) too many children is when your previous children start to suffer for it.

Please keep your patronising stereotypes to yourself; you have no idea about my life or my choices regarding children.

You remind me of the desperate hormone driven baby factories that church and society expect us to be.

Some people like myself are capable of deciding independently of peer accepted norms and free from preaching parents.

To dispel another of your potential misconceptions, I have no dislike for children; I just don't have a compulsive need to own one myself.
Wow, someone's a touchy moron aren't they?

I don't stereotype gamers, I just pointed out how funny it was that so many of you are conforming to them. A point you've just backed up doubly so with that rant.

I know full well stereotypes are foolish. But that doesn't mean it isn't funny when people conform to them.

But, as I said, it's funny when people conform to stereotypes, and your rant there was one of the best yet. I especially like the part where you said "Some people like myself are capable of deciding independently of peer accepted norms and free from preaching parents." because that's exactly what every forum nerd is meant to think of themselves, when they're actaully thinking exactly the same as all the other forum nerds.
Considering this is the only forum I visit and I am hardly a conformist, try reading some of my other posts. Maybe you?ll see that I am capable of independent thought.

I know this is a concept that you find difficult as pigeon holing seems to be theme you rant on about several times in your babblings.

That aside. You have proven yourself as someone so sanctimonious that you attempt to belittle people who exhibit free thought and independent decision making..
You?re obviously one of the sheeple who conform and don't even notice you are "fitting in"

Try thinking for yourself, you never know, you might even be capable.
Are you doing this just to make me laugh? Because that's really good of you.

Anyway, on the off chance you aren't doing it deliberately, and you really have missed the point this completely, despite me practically spelling it out, I'll explain things further:
I don't believe in stereotypes.
Most gamers don't hate children, that's only a stereotype.
Most internet forum goers don't think that they're one of the only intelligent people with independent thought, that's only a stereotype.

What's funny is that, even though they're only stereotypes, you're conforming to them almost perfectly.
No, no. I'm just patronising the crap out of you.
Whatever.

It depends on the couple, for some one is too many. It is not for others to decide how many children a couple can have, it is down to them and the strength of their relationship and their financial situation.

Ah, a perfect ending to a perfect rant.
Just claim you're still right, dismiss my points without addressing them and end with "Whatever"

Now I'm certain that you're just trying to make me laugh, because no-one could conform to a stereotype that closely and yet so completely fail to recognise it.

Your performance was very very funny, bravo.

I'd have to say 3 is about it. Apart from money, I'm not sure having an assload of kids is good for the kids themselves, it's statistically impossible to give all of those kids the time and attention they need. (statistically, but maybe not in practice)

I don't really like children, but if I had to, I'd say 1 or 2. Judging by how much of a wanker I was when I was younger, any children of mine would successfully drive me insane within the span of two weeks.

Under the assumption you can adequately provide for them whilst still maintaining a comfortable life style, one to three would suffice. Thus is why I frequently view those under the age of twenty one; some older, with contempt because the majority cannot hope to support a single child, let alone numerous and instead my tax dollars compensate their idiocy.

Granted if you are such an age, yet fall into the aforementioned category, you garner much respect. I may not agree with the decision however I can nonetheless appreciate the determination to support their children without Governmental assistance, beyond the norm.

If your on income support, 1.

If you're under 18, 1.

Other than that I'd say 3 is the maximum really, more than that becomes really expensive unless there is about 5 years between each, by the time number 4 comes around number one is off!
Couldn't have put it better myself

3 would will be the most I'll ever have. I like kids, but not enough to have a bunch of them.
