How many of you know what you want to do with your life?

I'm currently enrolled in a trade school to become an electrician because I figured there would be some job security seeing as how dependent we are on electricity. While its interesting, an electrician isn't my dream job. Come to think of it, there isn't anything I really want to do. Does anyone else have a similar problem? For those of you that don't, what motivated you to pursue a career?

That's going to be depressing. Anyway, I'm in high school and all I know is that I want to be in medicine. Not sure what to specialize in. Maybe cardiology. I dunno.

Cardiology is a fantastically interesting subject (google Torsades de pointes, (I think that's how it's spelt) for one of the diseases I find most interesting) with the eletrical rythym of the P wave, QRS complex, T wave and pacemaker cells. I would like to do that but oncology just appeals to me so much more. I can't explain it, but it does. Good luck, it's a hard slog to get in and even nastier when you are in there.
