Yeah... Australian History is a little bit empty. We've had some things that not many other countries as had, like genocidal line, but I don't think that's something you want to show off.

I know a fair amount of America. Enough so I don't fall for common misconceptions like "America only started the war of 1812 for Canadian land", not actually true. It was a prod at the British empire from the closest we could get to them considering our Navy was either make-shift of already kidnapped by British impression. Although had we ended up with Canadian land we probably would not have gave it back...

I live in the U.S. and know a good amount of it's history. It really is surprising how little most Americans know about U.S history, or any history for that matter.
Uh you should check your history the Normans were vikings who decided to settle in the region of Normandy they still held tightly to their Norse Beliefs but quickly adopted the language of the region. well... On July the 4th 1776, a group calling themselves the Second Judgemental Congress got together at For McHarry in Maryland. After a ceremony which ended with Paul Revere singing the famous battle hymn known as the National Anthem, the document was signed. From there, it was sent to England by plane presumably and presented to King George himself. Thus began the Evolutionary War.

I know a reasonable amount of British History, but its a bit of a mess really. I know about certain bits, but there are other bits I know little about at all really. I haven't ever sat down to learn the history of Britain thoroughly, I have just picked bits here and there and I do find it very interesting.
We have a very rich and fascinating history and I should probably strive to learn more.

Canadian history is long, bloody, and interesting. Unfortunately our education system has made millions of young people hate it by playing up "social history", arguably the most boring kind of history. Who cares about conquest of the west when you can learn about the working conditions of 19th century textile workers? Social history has an important place in the study of the past, but its not a very good "hook" to draw people in.

I know about the War of 1812. But you don't see me speaking French now, do ya? What's sad is that I know quite a bit of Californian history but don't really care about U.S. history as a whole. And I know almost all the Mormon history, for personal reasons.
