No part whatsoever, I don't listen to music.
:O You're missing out!
eh, most music isn't to my taste, I don't like any song enough to buy it, If I like it I'll just listen to it on youtube, I don't really understand the appeal of it, I prefer silence but to each his own I guess.

Around 53 gigs on my HDD right now.

But I never get a chance to listen to all of it, I usually just focus one or two albums at a time.

Massive part of my life. I have 5326 songs (28.75 GB)on my iTunes, I play bass guitar, I have about 50 CDs (a lot of those are local band EPs), I own four Guitar Hero games and I go to, on average, one or two gigs a week.

I listen to music every single day. I also play piano and have played for 13 years. Music is one of the biggest parts of my life and I love it. :D

I listen to a lot of music, but play none myself. does that mean that music is a big part of my life?

Music is a pretty big part of my life.

My iTunes library is 2.1 days and 3.03 GB.
My CD collection is triple that.
I have about 200 records that my parents gave me.
I've played the guitar since I was 10.
I've been to a lot of concerts in my life.

Well, i play both trumpet and bass and study music.
Also playing in a band where we are currently working on our own stuff to get properly started.
As for my iTunes library i have 4,05 GB which is about 3 days worth of music.
I ooften go to concerts, mostly to see how professionals play.

I'm personally obsessed with music, and the ever expanding universe of electro offers vast amounts of music every day for me to buy.

How important is music to you?

Do you often go to gigs? (I'm going to see Metronomy tonight :D)

I was trying to think about the best way to judge how much music plays a part in your life. And all i could think of was your collection / iTunes library. so heres my stats atm:

2175 songs 6.2 days 13.35 GB of music in my iTunes account. How about you?

I also have a record player with about 600 LPs that used to be my parents but regularly buy 12"s from my local record shops :) RPM ftw
Get 20 more megs of music and you're officially a music nerd.

As for myself i've used up over 12 headphones, the last 6 years, and i probably wear my headphones more than i wear pants, i sleep with my headphones on. Got about 70 gigs worth of music from my brothers but i don't listen to most of it.

Edit: Only been to one concert but that's because i have 110 kilometers to the nearest city and none of the bands i like come there.

Got about 110gbs of the stuff on my hard drive. Couldn't imagine being without it for a long period of time, although out of all the music I have available, I mostly listen to a smaller pool of albums.

My house is rarely quiet. I use music to relax, to get myself into a certain mood, to get an inspiration. Music is an irreplaceable part of my life. I only wish I were musical enough to actually play something. Oh well.

Music is very important to me, even though I don't go to alot of gigs I still listen to it just about every minute that I can, even when the situation doesn't call for it :D
