How often do you change your avatar?

I first had a crappy bio-hazard thing. Then it has all been gimped variations of Darth Maul there... My gimping isn't the best, but I try. I don't ever plan on getting rid of maul...

Only on Halloween, as part of a "costume" [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/362.236480-Poll-Escapist-Halloween-2010] thing. I change it back on November 1st.

Well my avatar has always been a Konata one since I started using this nick. And It'll always be a konata avatar as along as I use this nick.
At first it was the Konata from the Lucky Star commerical, then I changed to Konata cosplaying as Lelouch. Lately my avatar is this.
Though only on sites that use gravatar. I'm to lazy to change my avatar here.

I change mine every day... I wear briefs or boxer br... oh wait you said avatar. Umm. Let's say never... since it's my xbox one as well.
Swapped it a few times, but I'm happy with this one and I'll probably stick with it for a while.

Ah, this thread again. The thread does fit me as of late. In the past week and a half I have changed my avatar three times.
My first avatar was a Doctor Who pic combo I made.
Lately I have been re-watching Scrubs. I had always wanted to make myself a gif avatar. As of a couple weeks ago, I had never made a gif in my life.
Watching the first season of Scrubs, I decided to start making Scrubs gifs of my favorite moments in the show. As I make them, I will change them to the latest one I have made.
This is the first one I made:

And this is of course the latest one I am using now:
I have few more in the works, but I have to be in the mood to work on them, because when using free software, to get them down to the maximum 200KB, it is aggravating. It would be so much easier if it was 400 or 500KB, that way I could make them longer. My last two are shorter than I want them to be, because clips that are over seven seconds, when I turn them into gifs, just won't compress to under 200KB.
