My friend is very racist, i'm racist about rap music and hip hop culture, i don't know why people purchase cd's full of people speaking to a beat then blasting it really loud of of their cheap "blinged up" cars, and i don't see the attraction in impersonating a dullard like 50 cent.
I am however atheist, if i were to believe in religion and fairy tales i'd believe worshipping satan makes more sense than worshipping god as satan seems to have more of a hold on this planet, maybe convincing him to stop doing bad things would be better than hoping god pulls his finger out.

If I hate stupid people does that make me a "stupidist"?

As for myself, I actually don't have a problem with black people, but there are aspects to the "stereotypical black culture" that I do have problems with, if that makes any sense.

The thing with Hip Hop is you have to search for the right artist. If you stop at " BlingBling, cars, hot chicks, and gangsters". You will never find a good Hip-Hop artist.

I don't believe I know anyone who is sincerely, hatefully racist. Although, yes, I have family members who are ignorant, patronising and malinformed about world affairs.

I think the latest argument I had was trying to explain to my mother how her observation that 'all the Polish children I teach have a sadness behind their eyes' reflected a deep-seated, culturally-defined and patronising over-generalisation. Oh, and when she says 'Polish', she means Polish and Czech, as despite having holidayed in Prague a few years back, she didn't know the difference. It's more unfortunate ignorance than anything tangibly prejudicial.

My whole family is pretty liberal. When Prop 8 (Gay Marriage Ban) passed in California, and so did Prop 2 (Ethical treatment of farm animals), he said: "that's sad. people care more about chickens than they do about other people."

Edit: Also, my grandparnts are NOT racist, surprisingly. My grandfather is a justice of the peace in massachusetts, and performs gay marriages all the time.

My Aunt is very Catholic, she's like a Shiite Catholic. Not good for gays. Also, kinda racist.

My mom's sexist. She believes that if men and women were equal, there would be no men or women but instead a single sex like some frogs.

One of my friends' dad is really racist. He got pissed when the presidential election was over.

My grandfather didn't care for black people, but he wasn't a racist while he was still alive. Do you see what I mean? It's hard to explain.

What does the Shiite sect have to do with Catholicism? Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding you...and does your mum think then that women are better than men? Or men are better than women? Just curious, s'all.

On topic, my family is pretty accepting, but my grandpa would cut my hair for me if I let it touch my shoulders and rip out any piercings I ever got. So that would be ageist, I suppose...or maybe it's just an old people thing.

Being a mutt, racism is something my family deals with a lot. If I have to deal with one more person who can't understand that my brother looks like my dad and I look like my mom and we are full-blooded siblings I'm gonna puke. When my parents pulled the 'guess who's coming to dinner' routine most members of both families kept their mouths shut but there were a few dissenters. Now both sides have been enlightened and have learned the value of tolerance, not to mention individuality.

Now homophobic, that's another story. The part of my family that is black southern baptist called upon my gay cousin's white boyfriend to be a pallbearer at my grandmother's funeral. And the northeastern white side of the family still can't grasp that the world isn't going to light on fire because of gays and that all of my cousin's problems (drugs and criminality) are because he's a damn psychopath (literally) not because he's gay. So it just depends on the issues and the time I think.
I'm sorry for being an iliterate dumb fuck but...what's a "mutt"?¿

About my mom, I have no idea. I said "Shiite" because that's the religion of Hezbollah the terrorist group. They don't get too much press anymore. I was just having fun with words.

My dad is complicated. He's both a Stalinist (born in USSR) and gay. He doesn't trust Moslems, but he can recognize who's Moslem and who isn't (he prefers Obama over McCain, but loves Nader, but hats the two-party sustem in America) and he despises Chechens (although I have to say for good reason considering my family's history with them) and he's always making jokes about Albanians and their numerous children.

So he's not a racist in a traditional American sense, but he's quite nationalistic. I love him for exponential political incorrectness, and he's a great dad.

My step-grandmother, married to my rich, lawyer grandfather (other side of the family) is a fervent Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh fan, so she was blabbing shit about how Obama was Moslem and was going to give all of our taxpayer money to the blacks and stuff.

My mother's side of the family are mildly anti-gay and traditional Republicans, and my father's side of the family are all communist atheists who fart all the time. I could probably do a totally believable sitcom about their interactions.

My grandparents (on my fathers side) are about as white as they come. They look with disdain upon immigrants and non-caucasians alike

And Al-Qaeda is Sunni. Sorry dude, I don't get your point.

Not really the place to get bogged down being pedantic, actually, so nevermind; having fun with words, fair enough.

My dad is always sputting out comments about "niggers" and "spics" and "gooks."

There are good and bad people regardless of ethnicity. Racism was invented by the nobility and clergy of the Old world to validate opression and not feel bad about it.

When it boils down to it, I hate people who are stupid. As a grocery store employee who is paying for his own college education, I hate people who have a food-stamp card and use it to buy soda and candy and beef jerky and expensive ribeye steaks. I hate people who buy the essentials on a welfare card, only to buy two cases of Bud Light with a fifty dollar bill or gold credit card. I detest people who have six kids and no job and live off welfare and say the world is unfair. It has nothing to do with ethnicity, because I see just as many white people doing it as I see blacks, hispanic, and asians.

Not really. Racism arose out of the xenophobia of ordinary people. It needed no official edict to come about.

My grandpa screams obseneties at anyone who makes him mad, regardless of race. And race jokes are funny, my favorite is:
me-"what do you call a black guy flying a plane?"
other person-"*insert racist thing here*"
me-"A pilot 'ya racist bastard"

It gets people every time
