get frying pan out
high heat
put a small pat of butter in the pan
put ramen in butter
wait til sizzling then put a bit of water in the pan
repeat pouring VERY LITTLE watter int he pan and letting the noodles soak it up and soften
as it softens up pour a little of the seasoning packet into the noodles (too much and it will be way way too seasoned)

small amount of water usually around one cup, less if pot permits

bring to a boil

add cayanne pepper, seasoning, and red pepper flakes

drop in noodles, flip when soft

(optional, crack open an egg and cook with noodles)

continue cooking until most of water is gone

Enjoy

Well, I put the noodle packet into a bowl, pour water over it, usually submerging it. Then I stick it in the microwave for about 3 or so minutes, take it out, stir/break up the noodles (stick it back in for a few more minutes if the noodles haven't cooked all the way), add the seasoning, stir and enjoy.

I don't really like the cheapo ramen that you pretty much have to buy in large quantities though. I feel like I'm eating pure salt... dX

I keep trying them thinking I might like them this time, but I never finish them. If you put some good olive oil in there bet it would be good even without the seasoning.

I am fairly certain everyone on this site has had this dish at one point or another, I dont mean the nice expensive ramen you get at restaraunts, I mean that cheap as shit 20 cent ramen you get at the supermarket, so how do you make yours?

I first boil the water, then add the noodles, once they are cooked, I drain the water and add the seasoning, also, I will sometimes add Mushrooms and onions, and I will ALWAYS add Hot Sauce.
Hot sauce?!
I never thought of that.
I must try NOW!
Lol, in Mexico it's standard to eat it with Lemon and Hot Sauce.

I just microwave it, I'm lazy xD
lemon (usually lime though) and hot sauce is the best

and if I have any leftover meat of any kind I will add them too.

When I read the title I thought this would be about Rayman, and that you just spelled it the wrong way.

I thought that it was going to be about the term Raman from The Speaker for the Dead (the sequel of Ender's Game).

Hmm for me it goes like this.
1. Make sure my roommates not around. If not, Take ramen packet, stuff change into ramen box. (To pay 'em)
2. Are they in the house? If so Ignore all other steps, crush Ramen and consume.
3. Pull out saucepan. Get mad because no one did the dishes... Oh wait it's my turn guess I'll start by rinsing this sauce pan.
4. Boil Water.
5. Dump in noodles... Shit I dropped the flavor packet
6. Get fork and proceed to try and fish out flavor packet.
7. Burn myself on now hot flavor packet while trying to open it.
6. Forget what i was doing because I got an I.M.
8. wait... what step was I on?
9. Pour ramen into bowl Burn self on hot water.
10. Eat with fork because I am an uncultured american.

For beef ramen at least, I boil the water, put the noodle block in, and wait until the noodles are tender. I then drain the water, grab a big can of beef stew from the cupboard, pour it over the noodles, and then add the little flavor packet. Then I put the pot back on the stove and stir the stew and noodles together while the stew warms up. Once the stew/noodle mix is good and hot I pour it in a nice big bowl and eat it. It's the best damn budget meal ever. :D

I don't make instant ramen because it's awful. In fact I don't even like the so-called "good" ramen, it's like a laksa with all the non-bland bits removed. If I have to make noodles at home in a hurry I'll buy dry vermicelli and make it Singapore-style with fresh vegetables, it tastes better and actually takes less time.

Sometimes I crush it, mix in the seasoning, and have it like that. But when I actually bother to make it, I break it in half, put it in a bowl, fill it with water, microwave for a few minutes, drain the ramen, and add seasoning. I prefer it to be more concentrated and I really hate having that seasoning soup stuff.

I do it this way, except that I never add anything except the seasoning that comes wtih the noodles.
