Not at all. Well not personally.

I would be happy that another level of discrimination was removed from society.

I totally support gay rights, and it would only affect me in that it would make me happier. I would have more faith in humanity. And I would love to see the looks on all the christians' faces...
So what you're saying is, a signifcant reason you want something good done is to piss off people you don't like?
Um... no? I clearly said that I support gay rights and it would give me more faith in humanity, but you can go ahead and ignore all that, I guess.

And i am not saying i believe but, hypothetically, if the christians and the bible are right, then gay marriage won't make them go to hell any faster than already being gay will, so fighting it is stupid.
Your the first Non christian I've met who grasps that. And I've only met like five Christians as well who grasp that.
Actually I am a Christian, I just have a lot of gay friends and know a lot about the subject because my friend who campaigns for gay rights uses me to test his debate speeches.
Congratulations you just lost the title of first and instead received the title of 6th. very impressive.
Also so if your a christian whats with the "i am not saying i believe but, hypothetically, if the christians and the bible are right"? That sounds like your directly saying you're not a christian.

I don't believe that being gay will send you straight to hell. but I do believe in Jesus Christ and all that other stuff. I just don't think the gay stuff is true.

It wouldn't affect my life.

But I don't think that's an argument for gay marriage.

Note: I am entirely for gay marriage and have done work for same sex rights in the UK. I just don't think saying "it doesn't affect you!" is really a strong argument. People care about stuff that doesn't effect them all the time - especially idiots. I guess it does effect them in a way. In an emotional sense. They don't like the idea of it happening. : /

If gays could marry, then they would get the tax break that comes with marriage, so it would add to the deficit that I'll eventually be paying off.

Hopefully it would enchant me with some girl on girl action.

Seriously though, who cares about other people when it's none of anyone's business cept theirs?

People being gay doesn't affect me in the slightest. Good luck to them. But don't expect me to not laugh when I see two blokes holding hands because it does look funny.

Yeah that sounds pretty much identical to what I believe.

It wouldent. One of my good friends is a lesbian. I got a bud that's gayer than a 2 dollar bill. But he's still an awesome friend.

People need to learn to grow up.

And I clearly said "a significant reason" not "the only reason". :)
That's fine and dandy, but what's the point of nit-picking my post and trolling when it will achieve no actual discussion? I stated my views, and added that it would be enjoyable to see a group of people filled with nothing but senseless hatred toward gays to see this happen. I didn't just go out and say "I hate Christians so I want gay marriage."

That's not how it works.

It's as funny as two women or a man and a woman.

The one thing I don't like is when people say "I don't care."

You SHOULD care that innocent people are being discriminated against. Especially if you have LGBT friends. You shouldn't be so self-involved that you only care about things that affect you directly, and not the world around you. Think about how you would feel if you were being discriminated against. That whole dismissive attitude is almost as bad as outright homophobia.

OK, but that doesn't change the fact that in itself, it's no more or less funny than 2 women or a man and a woman getting married. It's just a couple getting married.

I think people should just let christians and catholics roleplay with their own RPG rulesets.

I think considering gay marriage is legal in the UK the question should be how has gay marriage affected your life. Answer being not at all.
