How would you kill a zombie

Fire, of course. Only surefire way.

However, since I don't have a flamethrower, but I could in a zombie apocalypse get weapons from the TA station in the city centre, then I'd carry with me:

2 pistols (probably Magnums since they're pretty powerful and easy to use) in a holster for mid-range combat.
2 swords from any antique shop in the city strapped to my sides next to the guns.
A shotgun in my hands for short to mid-range combat.
A sniper rifle in pieces in a backpack for when I'm holed up somewhere (high ground, of course), ready to put together and use when necessary.

That way, I'm heavily armed and still mobile, movement isn't restricted and I can easily fight off any zombies that come near me. Though with a shotgun and a sniper rifle, they shouldn't be able to get near me. Thanks to the TA base and antique shops in the Headingly and Hyde Park areas of the city, this is pretty much possible for me to get too, provided the TA have abandoned their base in the apocalypse...

EDIT: For the record, I could actually use all these too. Well, maybe not the swords since I don't have sword training, but I did have firearms training so I do know how to properly maintain a firearm and shoot pretty damn accurately...

Well if it was a slow moving one, and just one, and was smaller than me, bare hands. Fast movers, broadsword, because it has a 3ft slash radius and zombies are to stupid to dodge it, and a minigun(for my base), neck and eye protection(fast movers bite the neck and poker out eyes, shotgun, corner-shot.

a while back I made plans for a bunker which was somewhat like hitler's bunker (huge steel door, with stairs going down about 50 ft.) anyway that's where I would hold up, Also I live in the country side so not many people to turn into zombies, I also have the zombie survival guide, so id follow that.
And to answer your question I have about 10 sharp swords in my house, so i would use those until I have a way to find firearms, oh and we have a lot of alcohol in my house so i would make molotovs with them!

that as may be, but it's still my choice of weapon to ultimatley destroy zombies, regardless of the price, I'd like to see Wesker try his little matrix stunt now.

Sword and board all the way, no ammo and plenty satisfying, goes great with my suit of armour.

My local museum would be worried why the medieval exhibit looks so bare, but... they'd all be zombies anyway, right?

Amature mistake, the only thing worse than a zombie chasing you.... is a zombie, covered in fire, still chasing you ^^

As for me, it would have to be a katana, one of the most reliable swords, and unlike everyone else who chooses guns.... I won't run out of ammo.
