You are a special forces soldier.

You and your squad have just failed in your attempt to ambush the enemy and are currently on your way to the extraction point. The enemy is pursuing you in lightly armored vehicles and on foot and is two platoons strong (60-100 men). Your chances of outrunning them are slim. Your most viable option is to set up another ambush, yet doing so puts you in danger of being left behind.

Your squad has a total of 9 grenades, 5 smoke grenades, and 4 claymores. You all are running low on ammunition and you do not have enough to fend off a full assault.

What do you do?

Place the 4 claymores in a line and see if you can run past them without dying, if you can then take on the whole of their army with your bare fists because you must be pretty awesome xD

Get a volunteer to hold them off, a single man with enough firepower can hold up a convoy in a right spot and run to the extraction, or a last stand as we all know how well those things go

Dual-wield claymores and CHAAAARRGE!
Unless you're talking about mines and not swords when you say "claymores"

Anyway, I'd hide those claymore mines along the path to slow them down.
If they are within our sight, I'd use a smoke grenade to cover our flanks and a second one near another path to lead the enemy astray.

If they are able to catch up, throw everything I've got left, including the remaining smoke grenades at their forces while shooting every soldier that tries to leave the smokescreen.

Throw your smoke grenades, set your claymores up to defend a random spot, and hide. When they trigger the claymores, use the distraction to sneak away.

Make a few men stay behind with everything that's left, then use the smoke to make them seem more numerous. Hopefully that'll hold the enemy back while the rest run away.

Drop the claymores behind you and try to get to higher ground nearby and hide. when they near the claymores toss the grenades and open fire. The result: Owned by a matress!!!! (that catchphrase is copyright of cortheya inc)

Rig your smoke grenades to trip wires in a narrow path. Hide claymores s little further up the path. Throw grenades behind you as you're running away to the extraction point.

Place 3 of your claymores all over the path spread out over a medium distance, use smoke grenades to cover the path as they enter the mine field, have a few grenadiers in the trees to target the light vehicles, pull the rest of the men back to shoot the guys as they exit the smoke, kill half their men and leave as they are freaking out, target in specific the vehicles not to destroy but to disable so you can get the hell out of their, make sure to keep them in dense smoke too, knock down a few trees farther down the path so you can continue to pass the light vehicles, throw a claymore down before that so you cause more chaos and get a sniper near by for the second ambush leave him and pick him up later if he survives and make sure he also has a trigger smoke grenade attached to the fallen tree to trip when the claymore goes off

First step would be to setup the claymores in a stratigic location and create a fake trail leading over them. Once they reach the claymores, toss smoke and set off the claymores. With luck, the number of enemy soldiers may be reduced by quite a few. Have some of the squad toss grenades into the confusion while others open fire from concealed locations. With luck, the light vehicles will have been flipped by explosions. At this point, the squad should regroup and retreat, while picking off anyone who runs out of the smoke. With luck, most of the squad should survive extraction.

Take one claymore place it on the road and beside it put 4 grenades. Then assuming you have enough time take one claymore and put it 20 yds ahead of those in an obvious position. After that place the remain four grenades and split them up on each side of the road with claymore beside the last two pile of grenades. Then pop as much smoke as you can while running to extraction.

The enemy will get hit by the first claymore, then recovering after considerable damage will see the obvious placed claymore. Being in hot pursuit they will dodge it fast heading straight into the 2 well hidden bombs. This will create the allusion of having alot of firepower. Then when in they are in confusion smoke well come from all angles shellshocked they will be disoragnized while you run to extraction. Pick off the lucky ones with bullets who go toward the LZ.

If time was crucial you could pop half the smoke in the beginning in random areas giving you enough time to set the trap.

I can't. I've been ambushed by a battalion of hypothetical soldiers.
Touche. That is why you must make it to the extraction point

This is clearly a bunch of related content. Please don't keep making new threads for each instance -- especially when you're posting a new thread about the same topic every half-hour. It should be easy enough to keep using the same thread for more than one hypothetical wargame.

I make the situations militaristic because they are life and death, which means that one would be inclined to think carefully and wisely. It is a way of gauging my fellow man's intelligence.
