The single-player of the first Halo is unrivaled by any other game in the series. I dont know if it was Bungie scrapping Halo 2's campaign and starting from scratch halfway through the dev cycle, or if the tying up of loose ends made the story much less compelling, or if it's just nostalgia, but I dont think any of the other games had a single player experience that even came close to the original's.
Im sorry... but im afraid im going to have to shoot you at point blank range in the head with a 12gauge shot gun. I dont want to but it has to be done.

It was made for both, Pc and Consol. It would have been a good game that i would have liked to play on myc BUT than microsoft messed it up by only releasing it on xBox => dickmove
Than they held the game back for such a long time and made a bad conversion for the Pc so when Pc gamers got the game it lost every avarage in graphics, mechanics, ki and so on.
And i guess every Pc gamer shivers when he thinks about a multiplayer shooter without a mouse. Might be fine when you don't know better but after mastering reflexes and precission to survive in Counterstrike(only an example) it makes you almost feel claustrophobic when your unable to turn at such speed
Oh and i forgot with the second game microsoft made about an equal dickmove...
