XD Kudos to AC10 for posting One Must Fall 2097. It's sequel, Battlegrounds, ALSO deserves love. It got a rocky launch and indeed lacks the content of the original, but once patched it becomes a truly unique fighting experience unlike any other. A BACK VIEW fighter that plays just like a 2D fighter turned on it's side, no semi-auto combos or anything, you gotta do that shit one punch at a time and chain in specials and everything! Combine that with the unlimited number of players and it was great! Sadly it tanked super hard despite birthing it's own sub-genre of fighter. Still it was so good it ruined God Hand for me.
Also kudos on TimeSplitters. It's the only FPS I actually play and with the company dead? Well...FPSes are dead to me now

I mean seriously, NO ONE gets it right. Everyone goes "Oh it's all about the multiplayer" but they NEVER have the wealth of options that TimeSplitters had!
Also recent and worth mentioning: Ninja Blade, the spiritual sequel to Metal Wolf Chaos. Admittedly it has ALOT of QTEs in it (it's like...50% Dragon's Lair), but the game it's self is GOOD. Like...it's everything I wanted Ninja Gaiden to be and has far more actual STAGE DESIGN than most action games these days. Sadly I seem to be the only person that LIKED it! XD Ah well, at least From Software is making back that money with Demon's Souls.
