Have you tried Austrian Death Machine? Some good stuff there.

Alternatively, theres Sylosis, Shadow Law, Traces and Exit Ten for some British metal like. I'd say Sylosis are one of the best UK metal bands out atm.

Plus if you're after progressive stuff, then I'd like to suggest August Burns Red, Architects, Misery Signals and Carcer City. It really depends what you're into.

Or you could just lash on Lamb of Gods new album on and go sick

i assume you are a fellow dane, well regardless i didn't say we didn't have good metal bands(you forgot to mention the burning, corpus mortale, saturnus and omnihil ) i just said we didn't have to many cræm de la cræm like in the good old 70-80's where we had a buttload of thrash/death bands that ruled the metal scene. what i meant by paramount is that hatesphere and mercenary and mnemic(forgot them too) will be remembered and will standout, then again that is just my opinion, they are well established bands that easily can catch the attention of any metalhead. you dig?

edit- king diamond is also what i regard as of danish metal "kanon" lol along with the other three

You may want to try Probot. It's just a project of Dave Grohl (i think that's his name), with various legends of the genre like Lemmy Kilmister, Max Cavalera or Cronos of Venom. Also, try some old Sepultura before Max Cavalera left.
