TACO! Good to see you again!PsychicTaco115 said:SNIP
A lot of the music in the Lorax film is pretty good, even better though was the stuff they cut... which is ironic because had they just used the OG music the film might of been good.Ambient_Malice said:I hate to break it to you, OP, but Minions have nothing to do with Dreamworks. They're from Illumination Entertainment, creators of the lovely, if not very faithful, The Lorax film.

Even if one thinks it did suck, it had a great credits song.
Illumination are owned by Universal. They also did the CG work for Hop, which is an underrated film, IMO.
Always good to see you Zach :1Something Amyss said:TACO! Good to see you again!PsychicTaco115 said:SNIP
Anyway, I don't hate minions, but can only stand them in small doses.
It's too late for me. All my friends have Minion fever.PsychicTaco115 said:Whatever you do then, don't go on Facebook because apparently people love the shit out of them over there
IceForce said:I'm with you there. They're fucking everywhere. (<-- Don't read that sentence wrong.)
Just look at these abominations.

LOOK AT THEM
Sadly, they aren't banana flavored. I bought some hoping they would be; instead they are some sort of weird tropical fruit flavor that tastes like a reject from the flavor labs.Zeconte said:Now all I can think of is how gross banana flavored tic tacs must taste.
They're doing Subway as well, right? I really hope they don't go overboard with it because it's a really great movie and I don't want to end up resenting it.Laughing Man said:I have no real issue with minions, infact I would even go as far as to say I quite like them but then I've not been over exposed to them, in fact their 'exposure' has been limited to times that I've been around my niece or nephew, on the other hand these characters

I can happily hate on how overexposed these guys are, they literally are EVERYWHERE advertising some of the most questionable products related to what they are, Sky broadband? toothbrushes / toothpaste? Really? If I have to look at one more advert that ends with that yellow smiling moron... well rage!
I used to like the Minions...then I took an arrow in the knee...Barbas said:I thought the fart guns in supermarkets were funny at first. I laughed at the little Twinkie men and their excited strings of probable Esperanto. Weeks later, I could barely stand the little f**kers. I should have seen it coming; it's like the "Arrow In The Knee" meme all over again. It was everywhere, and all too much.![]()
.....yeah, I wanna slap the person who came up with that and double-slap them for sticking a minion with it for no flippin' reason.Hazy992 said:![]()
I mean these fucking quotes are bad enough but what the hell do they have to do with Minions?!
Well, she is my boo.Caramel Frappe said:That Rachnera Avatar with your custom title ... you hold very good taste I must say.
.. .. Oh, yeah to stay on topic- I think the reason they're so popular is because the older audience likes their charm. They may seem annoying because us younger folk observe things, but the adults have taken to like their slap-stick comedy as a sign of fresh air rather then them being those "cartoon characters that talk about moral messages 24 / 7 in a cheesy fashion" .... think of them as the updated Loony Toons the adults grew up with. Please note the Minions are by no means close to be as likable, talented, or anything that the Loony Toons possessed but even a slim reminder can get people attached to these . .. yellow beings.
I always see the Minions as annoying versions of the Aliens from Toy Story.Ambient_Malice said:Not to mention the Rabbids.gandhi the peacemake said:I actually don't care either way about them. Though yeah, they ARE just cheap knock-offs of the Servbots.[/img]
