I fail to see how this is funny.

Everything by Seth McFarlane. I don't get what, in any show, is funny and because I end up watching alot of TV passively because of my job, I've seen a good dozen episodes of everything he's done and found it awful.
Then again, Robot Chicken can make me chuckle

Heed my warning:

Dearest Escapists, for the safety of your souls, I recommend you don't watch this video. Any enthusiasm you have for life will be completely drained by the insane amounts of idiocy in this video. No, it is not a RickRoll. On a side-note, if you are stupid enough to watch this video, I dare you to watch...THE WHOLE THING. Dun, dun, duh!

I hope YouTube is still around in 20 years so that there can be a reaction video of the kid as a thirty-something watching this video.*
I'm not sure if this even counts on this thread because I'm pretty sure, juding by the rating and comments, that the only person that finds this funny is the kid in the video, which is pretty impressive considering some of the other that people find funny.

*In fact, I wonder what YouTube will do for most of these people's careers/lives in the long term. Wouldn't you be real creeped out if you were one of the Charlie Bit My Finger kids and 160 million people had watched a video of you as a baby? I'd like to see Fred or Tay Zonday having a job interview after he falls out of the public conciousness.

I tend to not watch comedies on TV, because they usually suck. I have grown bored with the "toilet humor" that 99% of all comedians turn to to get a laugh. For instance, I watched Bo Burnhams videos on youtube. They were pretty good. Then I saw his stand-up on Comedy Central. It was crap.

Why can't people actually take the time to think up good jokes? I mean Gabriel Iglesias is hilarious, and he does so with out being crass or random humor. I guess it's because I grew up watching Looney Tunes and Dick Van Dyke, but I find those shows a million times more entertaining than any of the new comedies.

Also Jeff Dunham was funny. His show, which has probably been cancelled by now, is terrible. I couldn't even watch 5 minutes of it, so I switched to something that didn't suck. Like NCIS.

I rarely watch late night/morning Adult Swim, mainly because it sucks ( Tim and Eric, etc) but I did like Frisky Dingo and The Mighty Boosh, or at least the one episode I saw. Squidbillies is mediocre, I watched it a lot over the summer (it took the midnight spot, so I would watch it then watch Robot Chicken at 12:15). 90% (being generous here) of all childrens shows (disney channel, cartoon network, Nicktoons) are completely retarded. I do not understand how anyone finds them funny, with one exception: occasionally, shows like the suite life of zack and cody will make jokes that go way over the heads of their intended audience. On the one episode I saw, my younger sister didn't get it, but I laughed heartily. And then I left the room.

Nicktoons has/had one good show, and that was Avatar: the Last Airbender. I missed most of the first season, but when Istarted watching it, it turned out to be really good.

The Disney Channel has no good shows. At all. There is nothing that can redeem it from the garbage it is.

Cartoon Network, in the 90's, was the best network on television, mainly because of Looney Tunes and the like. Now, they don't even show it on Boomerang (which is still awesome), and have replaced all the good shows that once were with the same crap that the Disney Channel puts out. At least Nicktoons actually has cartoons as the great majority of its shows. Cartoon network was like "f**k that s**t, let make the cartoon network have lots of live-action shows!"
It seems that after Chuck Jones' death, Cartoon Network slowly took away the Looney Tunes.

And even if Cartoon Network has gone back to cartoons, I still hate them.

And Sarah Silverman is crap. She is unfunny and nearly all of her jokes are racist or stupid in some way. I don't understand how she still has a show. At least comedy central had the brains to cancel the Flaming Sword of Fire show. Good Lord that was probably the worst show I have ever seen.

Seinfield; I just cannot enjoy that show. There are a few times I saw it, and laughed at parts. It had a moment or two for me. Like what's-her-name's dancing skills. Totally on par with my own. That was funny to me! The rest? Not so much.

Game Dogs, true, just not funny to me. Prime Time sitcoms (with or without their canned laughter) are a huge disapointment to me. Whenever I phone my dad, and ask him how he's doing, he tells me about the shows he watches, and just loves Two and a Half Men (Charlie Sheen). I gave it a shot just to have something I could BS over with my dad. I couldn't take it. It became unbearable. Game Dogs is the same concept to me, minus the canned laughter. If people like it, I don't mind it on the escapists. I just won't watch it, like all the other things here I don't watch. :)

I have some problems with the "comedies" on network TV (2.5men, big bang theory, etc), in that they pander to the largest population demographic. As such, they represent what most people find funny, which is a rather depressing thought, no?
As for XKCD, AVGN, and the other 278,543,534 examples of internet humour, please keep in mind that they appeal only to a narrow demographic. If somebody thinks they're funny, good for them. If not, no big deal, I'm sure they have some other way of getting their laughs from the intertubes.

Anyway, I'm sure we can all agree that anybody who thinks Adam Sandler, or Will Ferral are funny need to beaten with rusty pipes until they regain their sanity, yes?

YouTube poops, the Annoying Orange video, Portal (despite the cool song), XCDC, Family Guy, and I'm sick of those G-Mod videos that last a second and consist of a Team Fortress 2 character saying something.

Doonesbury.

How does anyone find that funny? I've read it every week in the Guardian to try and find something even remotely amusing about it and failed!

It just doesn't make sense how it's existed so long.

And Game Dogs, don't get me started on that train wreck of a show.

Anyway, I do have another answer. Have you, as a sober person, ever been around a bunch of stoners? If you have, then that's a perfect example.
I take offence to that!

Or rather, I would, but it's not really worth the effort.

[sub][sub]Oh god, I'm already gone[/sub][/sub]
You have to be REALLY smart for Doonesbury and maybe political

Moral Orel isnt funny to me but it can be entertaining i suppose.. Birdman is very boring.. Home movies makes me wanna puke.. Tim and Erics whatever show is a pile of donkey shit covered by losers! Dont know what Mighty Boosh is.. Frisky Dingo is hilarious tho! One of the only shows i find funny! Other than that one show the Brock Sampson lol i forgot the name but Brock was so epic that i will forget his name!

I wouldn't say I'm very smart, but I'm certainly political. The thing is, I do understand it, I just don't find it in the least bit funny.
oh okay, I remember when I use to read it in the newspaper funnies, some of t was funny and some wasn't, like Dilbert

I can't seem to understand how people think he's funny. Everytime I hear one of his jokes I react somewhat like this:
i love Russel Howard!!!! ^_^ i find him hilarious but we all have different views i suppose...

OT: Roy Chubby Brown is my least favourite comedian, simply because he is a racist bastard

least favourite show is Little Britain...take a guess why -_-'
