Oh dear. I'm the same age as Asteroids, Galaxians and Monaco GP. My first computer was an 8-bit Amstrad CPC464. The first film I ever saw in cinema was Return of the Jedi, and back then you could wait YEARS for a film to appear on VHS after it had screened in the cinema.

*sigh* Nostalgia isn't what it used to be either.

I felt old when the remakes of Red and Blue were announced, and I was only about 13 or so at the time.
And then my friend pointed out to me that Super Mario World turns 20 next year, and so will we.
Oh, and Floppy Disks. Floppys always make me feel old for some reason.

My action figure collection was massive!

Yea, I'm old. Working on 30.
haha Awesome! I say I had quite a few myself. I loved them all. And always took them out of packaging and have giant fights of armies of the guys in my room

Fuck yea! I was like 7 years old, acting out epic stories with mine. I remember setting my ghostbuster's playset on top of a desk, covering it with a sheet and that being the super secret hidden mountain base for the badguys.

Man, my childhood was awesome.

Whoa really! You had ghostbusters? Awesome! I was more a star wars guy myself. but yeah I know what you mean. I even took a tan blanket and threw boxes and stuff underneath in order to make it look like mountains and hills in a desert. I never took them outside though, I was so afraid I would loose a gun or a helmet.

I was playing the original Golden Axe and reading Fighting Fantasy gamebooks before most people on this site were even born.

I'm still a gentleman towards ladys, it makes me feel old. The youth of today don't seem to care for the dying art of chivalry anymore..saddening
At least ladies are often pleasantly surprised when they meet a man who treats them properly.

And when did it become ok for guys to slap asses and grope women they don't know in pubs? That shit makes we want to break some noses.

Yes, especially when I remember that the Legend of Zelda series is about as old as I am.

I don't get that either at all! I mean, I'm 17, and apparently I'm a weirdo for not doing that at my age!

And the weird thing is, the girls go out with the guys who do it to them! I don't get why anybody would want to be belittled and demeaned like that.
One very simple reason.

People. Are. Stupid.

Well to go into that would be a whole new topic on the nature of people being attracted to the alpha of a group, no matter how much of a douche they are... I guess it's just they way mating works.

Don't worry though, lots of sensible girls do get a bit older and stop chasing fuckheads.

I just feel old because I'm older than everyone around me. I'm closer to 30 than 20, but a lot of the people in my class (at university, I started when I was 23) are aged 19-21.

When I was 19 I felt the same way. Here's the strange part now that I'm twice as old, I still feel like I'm about the same age. If anything, I feel younger now then than I did then (except for when I stay out too late or eat pizza right before bed or when I remember that people half my age are legally adults.)

Oh, and I'm older than any home video game system your ever going to see except for maybe the first Magnavox attempt.
