Now for some more OT input: I've also found, in regards to the sentiment of 'America sucks' is somewhere between "America is fine... 'cept the south" or "The south is the worst part of America." This was actually proven in a thread a while ago. Everyone agreed that America was fine... except for the south. Even the people from the south would come in and say "Hey no, we're fine... it's those people further south that are bad."
I love America. It isn't perfect, but I find it to be overall a great place to live.

Why on earth would I hate Australia, it's roomy, the accent isn't irritating and doesn't make anything you say sound stupid, we have awesome beaches, a board-shorts and thongs culture(for those who don't know, I mean the foot-wear, not the female underwear) AND, AND AND AND! we have dozens of some of the most poisonous animals in the world! [sub]By the way, I acrually like every quality I listed, there was absolutely no sarcasm[/sub]

I rather like my country actually. The lovely beaches, the weather with its multiple personality disorders, the cute and cuddly marsupials, the toxic wildlife, having lots of sand, not being in South Australia, tim tams and all the other stuff. Its really quite nice.
You know what is ironic to many country's? Every political party preaches about how great their country is, but the party that is not in office always says how dumb the leader is. Just like how republicans preach about how great America is, but yet they seem to let everyone know how much they don't like the leader. (And the other way around)
I hate my country for being one of the two countries in the entire f'ing world that still has a limit on downloading and uploading. Who comes around with 20 gigs of download and upload? Most people don't, and after those 20 gigs it's back to medieval interwebz at 2 kbps. Luckily I have 100 gigs, but it's still bullshit.

That's partly to do with one michael atkinson, and partly due the fact that we're australians.
