The 360 was meant to be the sphere of influence it made around it with its capability as a media hub working with a computer with windows media software. It never really took off to be honest.Remleiz said:technically isnt the logo a sphere?slipknot4 said:So? It's still a box, not the logomiracleofsound said:The logo is a circle.
Circles have 360 degrees.

Basically it is for the most part synonymous with PC gaming. Its opposite is casual gaming, which puts a focus on rushing out lots of buggy games, fancy graphics, and amazingly easy to win. Casual gaming has long been tied to consoles such as the Xbox 360.
Interesting.
So tell me, Sensei, is Pac-man casual or hardcore?
Methinks you need a new set of blinders, it's pretty obvious your current prejudices are broken.
Yeah and if they wanted to be literal about the term "360" then they'll put a bunch of "nextest next gen" hardware into an old Xbox, lord knows once they pull those weights out the bottom they'll have enough room for it all...sirbryghtside said:Natal sounds alright - it's Nintendo that are going to become the others but worse.
Anyway, as I have nothing better to do -
I know they're probably going to call it that, but stop and think. Does 720 make any sense at all? There are only 360 degrees!AncientYoungSon said:Xbox720
you mean I will see anyone using get rammed in the balls by a goat to stop? Sweet.Silicone Knight said:Natal will succeed because motion controls will actually have graphics to back them up and not pre-set waggle motions unlike the Wii
The Wii is like fruit stripe gum, fun at first, disapointing later
The Xbox is like Stride
actually it's all in the power button on the original Xbox it was a circle and now it's a circle... but bigger! and with 4 separate lights.slipknot4 said:So? It's still a box, not the logomiracleofsound said:The logo is a circle.

Well, in my case, I bought it for the shooters (mostly Resident Evils), and yeah... I don't play it day and night anymore... but, you could also say the same thing about my xbox, gamecube, ps2, GBA... so, that really isn't fair to say...AncientYoungSon said:Every person I know who owns a Wii barely plays it anymore. Every household of casuals I know who bought a Wii because of Wii Sports never touches the thing these days.
Yes but many of it's games fail or become multiplatform games either way.AmrasCalmacil said:Ugh. Not "OMGZ WE R TEH HARDCOREZ" again.AncientYoungSon said:I get a headache just thinking about it. Sure, I'm probably overreacting, but MS is (was) the last bastion of hardcore console gaming.
Oh, and.
