Base ball bat. But my house was robbed when I wasn't home 3 times in a row, so the new security system has worked out well. That and the movement activated flood light targeting the surrounds of the house. Haven't even had a trespass since. Yeah I live in a crappy part of town lol.

I have a pretty good mould culture growing in the strata of my floor, seeing as I live in Australia it's probably poisonous, does that count?

(but seriously though, my house has been robbed once in my whole life when everyone was away, what is with you guys' neighbourhoods?)

A Scottish Highlander Broadsword.

A no, I am not joking. Technically its hanging on the wall by my door, for quick and easy access.

I have a wrench, machette, and rusty screw driver in my girlfriends car. The wrench is what I would use, it resembles the Engineer's TF2 wrench.

Being in the UK I don't have a gun, but I do have a pimpin' walking cane with a knobbly brass handle on it that could do some damage if you hit someone right.

I also have a couple of empty glass bottles laying around my room I could use.

Oh yeah, and I keep my bow and arrows by the bedroom door, just in case.

Hey folks!

Ever been afraid that someone might try to break into your house?
Well if you're afraid of robbery like me, then you most likely have some sort of weapontype oject near your bed.

My weapon is my crappy secondary putter that I no longer use in golf. It does me no good in golf, but I bet it would do good on a robber's skull.

My question is, what weapon, if any, do you keep near your bedside?
Oh man, with one of those thing, I could never hit the intruder just once. I'd whale on him until he hemorraged...then I'd go to jail.

You win.

As for me, I've got a couple guitars I could use. My three housemates all have swords in their rooms and there's stuff to use in the kitchen. I'm still thinking of getting a Louisville slugger, though.

You know, I don't really have anything. I do have a katana, but I have no idea how to use it, and it's only for decoration anyway and has no sharp edge. There's also a didgeridoo but, come on; how much damage can I realistically do with a didgeridoo?

What is that?

I have a metal baseball bat, my dad has a 9mm he keeps in his room(not loaded of course, ammo is somewhere else).

Oddly enough, I have an extremely sharp katana right next to my bed. Sheathed, ofcourse.

That is a sonic screwdriver from the Doctor Who series.

One of the most useful and possibly deadly weapons in that universe.

But I have no weapons.

Unless you count an almost full-size replica of an Executioner's sword-hammer thing from RE5.

I'm not afraid of robbery. Well I am, of course, but I'm not expecting it to happen. I haven't got a weapon ready anywhere.

A short length of wooden dowel I found, of just the right proportions to make a serviceable Kubotan [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kubotan].
