While I could see this having potential you need to cut a lot more out. Over the course of this episode they got a quest from a Medusa (I think). I know a lot of random shit goes on in DnD sessions but most of it isn't all that interesting unless you are a part of it. Also it was kind of confusing what was happening. I didn't remember where the previous episode left off so I was confused as to what was happening when this one started. Maybe you should show a little recap of the previous stuff ("last time on 'I Hit it with my Axe'" and then show some clips).

I've already given my constructive criticism above, so this is more of a general (and personal) note about hosting this series at the Escapist (which, oddly enough, I had never heard of before seeing it referenced on Zac's blog):

Regardless of how much this site's founders/editors may enjoy table-top RPGs, a series like this will not appeal to the majority of its subscribers. For many youngsters, the debt of current video games to DnD and other table-top pursuits is neither readily apparent nor particularly relevant to their interests - hit points and using mathematical formulas to simulate physical action are a given to this audience and they have certainly never viewed the computer/console as an inferior substitute for weekly (in-person) gaming groups. When I watch something like this, it reminds me of how much fun it was to make shit up with my friends (both adventures and rules) when the only 'gaming' alternative was an Atari 2600 - I've kept my 1st ed. Dnd books; the Atari went into the trash heap a long time ago. It's unrealistic to expect anyone who isn't a child of the 70s or 80s to feel anything like that nostalgia when looking at these videos.

I'm sure they feel much like I do when reading previews/reviews/etc. fawning over the latest video game title to promise an 'immersive' experience. Sure, I can appreciate just about anything done with creativity and talent (including porn!) - but the history of video game development, in which the underlying RPG-inspired mechanics have become less and less recognizable, is as much a tragedy as a triumph from my viewpoint. In other words, I'll play Arkham Asylum or God of War - all the while wishing I could know Batman and Kratos' Thac0.

My point, I suppose, is that this series will probably never click with the core demographic of the escapist magazine and that's not really anybody's fault. If the site managers want to keep the series here for personal reasons, I totally appreciate that and will be a loyal viewer for as long as it lasts. Hopefully less and less people will feel the need, though, to announce publicly that they're not the target audience by denigrating either the game to which they owe their digital fun or Zac and his friends who probably get more than enough shit from people for their day jobs.

This video belongs in the cesspools of boring YouTube videos. It's about as exciting as watching a guy play Guitar Hero but you can't see the tv.

i have to agree with majority of people here, it pretty boring, but add in some more gameplay a bit of quick funny animations and better filming and it could be quite interesting. i see potential here with a bit more effort put into each episodes and maybe some...Ahmm...if you get what i mean, nah i joke that's what the rest of the internet is for.
still i'll give it three more episodes and if it's not interesting by then i'll stop vouching for it.

I'm liking it. There's certainly room for improvement, but I could see it getting a lot more interesting once the game takes off a bit. Keep at it!
I do think that most of the other comments are a bit too severe, but this is the Internet. *sigh*

I like it, it's something different. Just wish there could be more content per episode so I could get to know the people more.

This is dreadfully boring, but somehow I'm still enjoying it.

I think it's just my mind rejecting the idea that D&D + porn stars could be boring.

It's called a gorgon
Medusa was just one of them the creature is a gorgon.
Actually, you're wrong.

If this was Greek mythology then you'd be right, but this is D&D. In D&D a Medusa is a standard monster type that's based on the mythological creature, but it's a race of monsters and not one particular creature.

a group of fairly good looking women with one of the shittiest DM's in known history. wtf, escapist? you can't be this desperate for content. seriously, his total DMing skills amount to "there's a city over there" "she has a mask thing on a stick" and my favorite, his one npc that sounds like it has throat cancer. I think this is kind of insulting to female gamers, as all of them are strippers, etc. Is that the only way for female gamers get on camera? if they only happen to be "adult entertainers" ?

so, not watching this again.

this is lame. good looking women with the lamest DM of all time, his narrative is so boring I would probably hit myself in the face with a tomahawk just to liven things up a bit.
