Oh dude. Here is my story of shame. You can officially call me the Master of Disaster. Where shall I begin? Ah yes, over 10 years ago, I broke my first Gameboy's screen by punching it (don't remember which game provoked my wrath, must have been Megaman 2 or Castlevania Adventures). The next casualty would occur many years later on 2006 as I snapped my first DS (an original one) in two like a "Break" chocolate after losing to the cheating Mario Kart AI yet again. It still held in place barely connected with the wires till this year where it breathed its last when it suddenly stopped working. It shall be missed. Then, on 2007, my mouse faced my wrath while playing Gears of War on the PC and from a combination of continuous crashes (once every hour), cheating AI (shotgun and torque wielding locusts), the left button's shell was ripped and I had to keep it in place with tape. The next casualty was the Wavebird controller on 2008. Not exactly a casualty, as the controller is still fine. What's not so fine is more than probably the receiver inqside the controller as the controller itself was being banged against the wall after some really frustratingly cheating sessions of Super Smash Bros Brawl. May send it for repairs sometime soon. On that same year, my second DS (Lite) after receiving some punishment here and then over a period of two years finally broke one of its hinges after some infuriating gameplay on Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. Currently at the repair shop. And yes, this year had 2 more casualties. The first was the PSP screen breaking after some frustrating Loco Roco 2 sections, but has been repaired. The second is my Les Paul Guitar controller where after some banging the blue fret button stopped working. Yeah, games can really make you mad if you are playing alone. I could use some vallium but I avoid taking medication.
Wow, you win

I spun a SNES controller into a wall once, in the way you would spin a flat rock into the water to make it skip. One of the L or R buttons quit working as a result. I think it was because of Street Fighter II. And I think me squeezing another one too hard contributed to it dying early (I was like 13) I don't get that upset at anything any more, even stuff that should. I'm pretty mellow. Now I'll just swear.

The second time was mostly on purpose, my PC keyboard was old and some of the keys were losing their responsiveness and a bunch of the letters were worn off and I wanted to buy a new one. I got mad at something.. I can't even remember what. But I slammed my hands down kinda hard, flat. Then I stopped and thought for a moment damn I really need to buy a new one. I wasn't angry any more, but for the heck of it I just balled my hands into fists and just wailed on it for like 10 seconds, laughing hysterically as all the keys went flying across the room and bouncing off my head. Then I giggled to myself as I drove to the store to buy a new one.

2 Nintendo 64 controllers have fallen to Mario Party and that damn rafting minigame...

Other than that if I get frustrated in a game I just put the controller down and walk away...

NOOO... you just made me relive a horrible moment of my life.

On topic: Fighting games always frustrate me but not to the point of breaking anything.

I recently decided to complete every activity in Saints Row 2. I managed to keep myself from breaking the controller, but I did punch it a whole bunch of times.

I was playing my Dreamcast, got pissed, took out the memory card, and threw it at my wall. I've got a nice dent in my wall now.

I've gone through 2 or 3 USB headsets (PC). Some of those were where I would just slam it down and it falls to bits, other times I would attempt to storm off without remoing/uncliping it, and it would slam into something and break.

Oh well, they were mostly shitty logitech headsets anyway.

COD4. Mile high club.

Slammed my controller into my forehead so hard that I broke the joystick.
I swore more than anything trying to get that. Only took me about two days though...I left SO good after.

Break the targets on any Smash brothers game has made me want to kick my TV in. To this day I still don't understand why I do them.

No, though I've thrown my fair share. Guess I'm just lucky or something. Nearly threw my controller playing N3 till I realized it wasn't a great idea to break a $40 controller because of a shitty $15 clearance game. I have broken a headset after throwing the controller during a Halo 3 match. The little metal part in it came off and now my controller rattles everytime I shake it.

The FUCKING spinning spike towers in FUCKING hades in FUCKING god of war. I was planning on replaying that game but that one point made me just say no.
Worst level I've played in a modern game.

I had to switch off the PS2 and go walk it off because I knew something would get broken if I didn't.

I did break a controller while playing Prince of Persia on the 360, because the damn combat was such horrible, boring and frustrating QTE hell.

I was fighting the concubine for the fifth time and just lost the rag and threw it on the floor, forever dislodgin the left analogue stick so it points left as its default.

I pulled my gamecube out of the wall by swinging the controller around in rage playing Ocarina of Time (Jabu Jabu's belly... horrid).

Not personally, but a friend of mine was playing Super Mario World on his SNES for the first time after like 7 years, and he just couldn't manage to beat Bowser.
After what felt like 300 tries he launched his SNES right into his TV while flipping the desk over. 200? for the desk, 300 for the TV. That was one hell of an expensive boss fight.

LOL plus the added insult to injury that that is probably one of the easiest boss fights in history!

There are some awfully tricky bits in Super Mario World so it must have been so annoying to get through all those and get stuck on Bowser...

I was playing Halo 3's Rat Race with a teammate at a system link and we were on the same TV. I got shot with a rocket and flipped. He literally beat me with a controller, I bruised and the B button no longer worked on his controller. Wasn't really me who broke it but it involved me.

Oh yeah! I use to get so angry I would lose control and even break down in tears, yes I did have problems. I broke 3 N64 controllers with great fits of rage by throwing them at something that was taunting me in the room at the time.

And he didn't even do that bad up until that point (I was watching), guess he just lost his focus or something.
The SNES is still working, too. Consoles must've been pretty sturdy back in the days.

Hexic... Always screwin me over and keeping me from doing what I wanna do. Pissing me off despite the calming, symphonic metal/death metal...

I've gotten so pissed I walked into the kitchen, took out a knife, when out into the garage, and stabbed the crap outa a wall... Gardening tools were also used.

I think I need a disposable wall and some nice sharp stabbing objects...

[Edit] I also remember, many years ago with the original pokemon, and silver and gold and the like, I'd get pissed after the game throwing me a cheap blow, and start punching the gameboy as hard as I could... Surprised it never broke. You could proly build a house outa gameboys and it'd never break...

Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 drove me to the point where I broke my PS2 controller in half (down the skinny part)...

I twisted the thing with all my might and the controller cracked and broke...

It was an old controller...
Or possibly you have an odd, useless, destructive talent
Well I get steaming mad when I get frustrated so I was pretty much at the point where I might rip all my hair out
You need to get Red Faction Geurilla.

It's amazingly cathartic and you can smash the shit out of EVERYTHING.

I was playing Cold Fear and had the wife navigating since there is no in game map. She keeps telling me about this room I should go to but it doesn't exist in the game. I got frustrated (more at her than the game itself) since I kept telling her the faq was wrong but she wouldn't listen. Afte rarguing for a few more minutes and me getting more and more pissed by the whole situation I threw my controller. It hit a door and put a nice hole in it. The controller was fine, not even a scratch.
