I just got a PSP

So i recently got a PSP and i just haven't found anything cool to do with it. The internet service for it kinda sucks and the games just all around aren't that great. I was wondering if anyone has found anything cool to do on it. It seems to have alot of potential.

A. Use it as a MP3 player
B. Use it for porn on the go
C. It makes a lovely paperweight
D. If you can find it, get Metal Gear Ac!d. Best PSP game ever.

I mostly got it to get on a 3rd party web messenger or something to talk to my g/f at work. But ya its extremely limited capacity for internet really sucks. I have been thinking about trading it in for a DS atleast then i could play fire emblem.

Yeah, they lose there appeal really fast

It can play mp3s? so can my mp3 player but much better

it can browse the internet? but slowly

It can play SOME good games (AC!D included) yes but that's about it

Id recommend getting a refund personally (PERSONALLY) but its your choice

I use mine to watch movies a lot, its great if you're on holiday or something. Explore the games, i suggest something a bit quirky like patapon.

Depending on what types of games you like I can provide a list of games you may enjoy. Everyone can agree the web browser sucks, the thing just doesn't have enough RAM to handle it well unfortunately. One thing you should look into though is installing custom firmware on it. I personally don't have it on mine but it really unlocks tons of potential in the system. You can play emulated old school games, and there are some interesting apps for it.

Play one of the GTA games on it. They are good.

Also, buy a UMD movie or a decent sized memory stick and put movies/music on that.

I don't get where all this negative stuff about the PSP is coming from...I've had one for a few months and it's a bunch of fun. The only problem I have is that the screen gets all scratched up if you put it in your pocket.

Should be a MUST have for any PSP owner if you wanna keep it scratch/smudge free. You won't believe how much of a particle and print magnet that screen can be.

I really have no Idea myself. Really it feels like people are still stuck three years in the past when the PSP got off to a real bad start but it's made a complete 180 since then but it doesn't stop nay sayers. Ah well

Oh well, while I'll farm like a mad little man in PS, play classics like FF:T, Monster Hunter Freedom, and soon the latest iterations, while waiting for Dissidia <3, and Agito.

Must say, my DS is a much better paperweight
