I honestly agree to pretty much everything said on that page about Moviebob. He seems to interpret his opinions as fact. As for talking about the bad things on The Escapist, I don't really care. If The Escapist wants to look like a bunch of asshole-like snobs, it's none of my business.

Anyway, I recently discovered something that really pissed me off. Basically theres this ED rip off where pretty much all they do is whine about LRR, Moviebob and the Escapist.

I'm a big fan of all these things, and it pisses me off to see people being this ungrateful/jealous/trolling this hard. I found this site on the LRR forums, they went and trolled that site afterwards as well until Graham and Kathleen stopped them.

actually many of their points about moviebob are valid (his being one of two videos on this website that I don't enjoy) but the rest is just nonsense, but I also get the feeling that they were trying WAY to hard to be funny and rage at the same time

I thought those articles were hilarious, and painfully true in many ways. The Extra Credits and Yahtzee articles were funny, and not undeservedly abusive.

The most childish people are the escapists here dismissing the articles as stupidly trolling and failing to see the truth to the humor.

While I dislike it that people are hating on The Escapist, people will hat about anything, so it doesn't bother me too much. It WILL become a problem the second they start hating on Extra Credits. Honestly people, what is there to hate on in EC? They are helping the gaming community by giving their ways of making games better to the community so that they may be implemented to further progress the medium. What can be said that's bad about that.

The think to hate about EC is that they take their opinion and much like FOX News they try to sell it as fact. Honestly at least with moviebob you know hes only giving his opinion, extra credits however act as if their allways right, they even make the episode look like their giving an educational lecture when their just giving their opinion.

I heard somewhere that a majority of Encyclopedia Dramatica is nothing but butthurt white, single, virgin males that are mad because people like what they don't, so they're all smug about it, and only a teeny tiny fraction are actually trolls.

But this site...it's obvious all it wants to be is ED, and it's also obvious that damn near all of it is full of the aforementioned virgins. If there's even the potential of a smarmy remark, they make it. If there's a generalization to be made, they mention it. If there's something negative to say, they do it. And it doesn't even come off as clever. It just comes off as the ranting of someone who would probably end up with his head up his ass if he trolled any harder.

It's not really satirical. It's just psuedo-whittiy whining. It doesn't even get some sort of reaction save for an eye roll and a closing of the tab it's in.

Seems like just a troll site but this really pisses me off:

Thank god the Escapist doesn't try to hold it self to to the rest of the internet. Seriously its like saying you can say the n word just because you don't mean black people. That notion that words mean nothing pisses me off to no end.
