I do enjoy me some Deadmau5, Aphex Twin, Chemical Brothers, Boards of Canada, Squarepusher, LFO, Auteche, and a bit of Pendulum.

I love techno, and this is my favorite of the genre. They do some pretty good ones, so they're worth checking out

I'm not the biggest fan of techno music, that's not saying that I don't like some of it, however most of the time I try to listen to it I just feel like I'm listening to random noises.

I do like some techno (although I can't name it off the top of my head) however for me it's not the type of music that I like it's just what I like is what I like if that makes any sence. For example I listen to Clutch, Felix Da Housecat, Celldweller, Rob Dougan, Atlas Plug, Inner Circle, Scissor Sisters and many more. Now they are all different types of music but I love all of them. So I can't really say that I don't like Techno as there is probably some out there that I would like that I just haven't heard of yet.

Thanks for listening.

Just curious, is the the sounds they use in the melodies? Some people tell me they can sound like annoying sirens or alarms or just plain weird.
Well....sometimes...

Song speaks for itself, I do believe...

I never quite liked techno, but I can see why people like it.
And thanks for the songs, although it doesn't change my opinion about it.

I am a musician, so yeah, I prefer the sound of real instruments. They feel that they can add far many emotions unlike techno were everything is happy, etc.
But I respect techno for what it is, although I do not like it. Maybe because where I live people usually put the volume too up that can make your ears bleed would be another reason why I do not like it, don't you think?

Celldweller/quote]I am not really sure if Celldweller is classified as techno, I would say it's more punk. But if it is, I think he is the only techno artist I am a fan of, though I didn't knew...

I love trance!
ATB and Above and Beyond are 2 of my favorite artists. I'll listen to these songs when I can though, I haven't had the chance yet.

ed- additional addendum-- Posford and Raja Ram take the idea of musician-ship to a different level. Many of their songs start out as instrument experimentations (dropping pennies on tambourines, tapping on glasses, playing flute, guitar, sitar, among others) and occasionally make up their own instruments to seek unique sounds. It's the way they compose it together and alter it electronically that turns it into something that transcends physical instrumentation alone.

There's an amazing breadth of potential in electronic music. Probably not going to sway any opinion, but the possibilities are limitless in this music.

Ed- btw, I'm running on the addendum in the OP that this is now about electronic music in general.

ed- more addendum--

ed AGAIN- dammit, didn't realize last vid I posted clipped this song far too soon. fix'd for full version. Cuz it's REALLY good!!!

I like some techno, preferably the stuff that classifies itself as Electronica.

Speaking of which, I made an entire album [http://www.villafuzz.net84.net]'s worth of Electronica in the weekend... I can haz feedback?

Also, it was actually the Escapist Music Library that got me into Electronica, with the help of Ahmatron and Younnat.

Well, I would have no problem with techno except for this.

(Music starts)

Hmm, this is pretty nifty

(music continues)

Alright, it seems like they are adding a little bit to this song now, this is picking up nicely.

(music continues)

Been a bit of the same thing for a while

(music continues)

hmm...

(Music stops, beat changes)

Alright, I was beginning to get worried

(Beat resumes normally)

Oh...

(song ends)

Well now

I wouldn't have any problems, but Techno is really just beats that never really go anywhere. Great at parties, where they are in the back of your head, fueling that Party Fever, but just rather lame anywhere else.

Now I know there is probably a few exceptions, but not enough to pull it out of the water, like rap and Coun-

Its fun to bounce up and down to :D

Hm. Well, I've got a few that are at least part-techno. Good enough, I hope? Not a genre I generally bother with.

Good enough, I hope. I admit, it's all rather weird.

I like anything that sounds evil! I know a lot luckily :3

Those 2 songs are just brushing the surface for me. Justice really inspired me to actually go looking for more music, rather than sticking to what i know. I've found tons of gems hidden around but i'm still not even knee deep yet.

Electronic music is diverse as hell i think there's something there for everyone, you just have to keep digging!

I could post more but 6 youtube videos is enough for one post! Hope someone found something they like :3

That was... interesting.
It doesn't change my opinion, but I liked these. Thanks!
