I'm starting this thread for a number of reasons.

1. I always like hearing about new music
2. I'd like us all to post a techno/electronic song that you actually do like.
3. If you don't like any songs, tell me why and I'll show you a song you will love
4. I want to share the music that I love even more than videogames and the escapist combined.
5. I just want to talk about music and don't feel like waxing poetic about psychology, analyzing arguments and logic, and searching for advice threads.

Thats as far as I'll go for now. I know that I left off trance, trip hop, glitch, IDM, hardcore, gabber, 2 Step, electro, and a ton of other subgenres. The subgenres never end.

EDIT: I don't mean to confuse by using the term techno. Technically it is a specific genre of electronic music that I always thought was a made up BS term for a genre that they couldn't think of an actual name for, so I never bought it and continued to use the word to describe all electronic music. But technically, I do mean electronic music when I say techno.

That song is fucking awesome. I swear to you. Next weekend, when I get some Bday money, I'm going to buy some remixing software and remix the hell out of that one. I'm so glad you posted it. It was familiar yet I know I've never heard it before.

I went back and forth between techno and electronica and I ended up just using the shorter one that I say all the time. Like IDM, I like it better than braindance simply because its easier(for me) to say. I'm weird like that.

Its Happy Hardcore basically. It reminded me of early nineties rave music since it had elements of jungle. I tend to prefer the darker side of electronic music.

Just curious, is the the sounds they use in the melodies? Some people tell me they can sound like annoying sirens or alarms or just plain weird. And sometimes they do sound those. Do you prefer the tone of live traditional instruments?
