You probably caught my post regarding Jim "Foetus" Thirwell as the man behind the OST for the Venture Bros, on the first lap... But just in case:

I've a passing determination to bring more attention to this brilliant musician who's been making unclassifiable music since 1981. Is he Industrial? Rockabilly? Techno? Metal? Polka? Foley? An exploding casino? Sometimes all at once...

Beyond doing all the original music for Venture Bros. there is also a throwaway line during season 1 when the Monarch is accusing Dr. Girlfriend of sluttery when in exclamation he points to a picture and yells, "HE'RES A PICTURE OF YOU SKINNY DIPPING WITH JIM FOETUS!!"

Profile:
Native of Melbourne, Australia, J.G. (James George) (Jim) Thirlwell conceived the basic Foetus concept, when he relocated to London in 1978. His first appearance on record is with the post-punk synth-pop group pragVEC; the first Foetus release "OKFM / Spite Your Face" appeared in January 1981 on Thirlwell's own Self Immolation label. Relocated this time to New York City in 1984, he operates since then under many monikers: mainly Foetus

As for feedback, well yes, you can has. I listened to every track, and I can say that all of them are pretty good. Rockin' Alive, Haze, My Twisted Massacre, and Coldstorm were the best tracks in my opinion. You might want to try polishing your sound a little bit. The first couple of tracks especially seems very empty and bare, and could definitely be helped by some reverb or something. Try making the sound more finished, I think is the best word. Make sure the tracks are complete before putting them up. But the Album you've got up there is good and is definitely going on my iPod in the event of a download link.

The first two are from my first EP and the other four are from my first ever full length album that I'm still working on.

I have two EPs done right now, and I'm looking for ways to release them. I wanted to do something with selling them over itunes or something, but I might just give them away for free like you have.

This is a pretty diverse group of tracks, but these are the only ones I have up right now.

Nice one(s)... what program are you using? I don't have much money to spend so I'm using Linux Multimedia Studio at the moment...
I especially liked Mona Lisa and 59, Sunshine is a bit too clashy. I can see what you're going for, but it completely drowns out the drums.

I'm a big fan of Trance, House, DnB, Dance, and Electro for a while now, really most electronic music other than techno and hardstyle. I love electronic music, I have lots of friends who DJ and mix, I wanna get into it but it's expensive for gear and takes lot of practice to be really good.

I'm quite a fan of Thirlwell, thanks for posting those.

I certainly didn't mean to imply you wouldn't be familiar with him, but unfortunately, as I'm sure you can agree, for a man so prolific, awesome and dedicated to his music he see's little recognition.

Glad you liked the videos! There's a lot of bootlegs and live stuff on youtube you've probably explored, but I didn't think they'd be as catchy a showcase to share with the escapist body.

Now for some live Mexican "Hellektro" - I'll concede the singer has a lot of energy and there's lots of flashing lights, but can it carry the show? I think it would have worked better with a smaller stage and audience, but hey....

I'm at odds with this. Too much polarity. Like sitting in a freezer and setting yourself on fire. Some things should never be mixed, and aren't a good idea to start with.

Good assessment. I think it kinda suffers from spinning too many plates at once, too. No real blending, just a great big mess when all the plates inevitably fall to the ground and the listener is left with a bunch of different colored slices of porcelain.. or... video edits..
