Simply, I am looking for a good game (preferably MMO/RPG) that:
1. I won't finish in a week.
2. Doesn't take much time to play every day.
3. Has a good endgame content.

I was thinking about Diablo 2 or WoW but D2 has really terrible endgame content(well, unless you feel like killing Diablo 100x a day until he drops one rune) and WoW cannot be played just a 2-3 hours a day.
Good example would be Gothic and The Elder Scrolls series but I have played both already.
So, any good tips?

EDIT: It might too late but I should mention that I have only PC and I can't emulate any newer console game.

Dragon Age: Origins with Awakenings and all the DLC.

It'll last you a good 80 hours (or more if you take your time).

EDIT: And if you ignore what everyone says, try Dragon Age 2, and enjoy it, that's another 50 or so.

I definitely get why you said that game (love it myself) but it looks like he's going for a more straight up RPG.

I have played it for a while and I didn't like it but this time I am willing to play a game just for a story and maybe I will even enjoy gameplay in time.

Indeed. Borderlands was good game but it got boring really quick because of lack of proper story and repetitive gameplay.

Wait, what? Why not?

You can get to gladiator "just" with 2-3 hours every other day, you can get a spot in top 1000 world guilds with "just" 4-6 hours 3 times a week.

Anyway, Super Meat Boy! But gosh, if you want RPG? The Witcher 2?

Noooooo, don't fall for it! A mate of mine was close to sucking me in to build a castle, but a kind girl sarcasm managed to broke that curse.

Seriously, it's even more pointless that WoW, but ohhh, sooo easy to fall for. Especially online.

I felt the same about Borderlands, it got really boring pretty quickly.

If you Like Elder Scrolls, have you tried Fallout? or how about Neverwinter Nights?

Minecraft was good while I played it with my friends but when they quit there wasn't any reason for me to continue playing.

Far Cry 2 is mine, campaign wise. Played it several times over and over till the end. Its the ideal sand-box game. No need to bear me down on side-quests, the scenery is enough for me and the south-african accents CHINA!

If you like Sci Fi with a rather quirky nature I would give a hearty recommendation for Space Rangers 2. You can get this on Impulse I am certain but there should be other download sites.

It is the finest implementation of a persistent universe that I have ever seen.

just found this game yesterday. So far im having loads of fun with it.

Its an mmorpg. Just released 19th of august. Its free to play and very pvp oriented. Once you are lvl 10 you can join a small war that starts every 15 minutes. Loads of fun. You can lvl via doing quests (go kill 10 of these etc) or just by fighting in these wars. They give exp. And they are limited to certain lvls (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc...) so you won't get killed by high lvl's all the time.

The setting itself is: troy versus greece

If you aren't apposed to JRPGs and have a PS2 Dragon Quest 8 has loads of content. The main story alone took me about 72 hours to complete. After finishing it there are a wealth of sidequests. I did just about everything you can do and clocked in at a total of 111 hours. It is totally worth it as well as it completely changes the ending.

i'm going to agree there.
also i'd suggest Demon's Souls, as that seems to be your cup of tea. There's only 5 different worlds, but theyre split up a fair amount and theres a few areas you need to leave for later.

There is The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall free and legal if you want to download it. It is old and hard but very long. I would say get a game in The Elder Scrolls or Fallout series (not brotherhood of steel.)

Both Fallout and NWN are games that I really need to get into because I can't just pick them up and play for a while else I get bored. I appreciate them both as great RPGs unlike Dragon Age which I didn't like because it was too simple but I guess that is what I want now.

Gotta go with the obvious Fallout series recommendation I can only hope that you knew was comming. Also, if you have a high-end PC; The Sims 3 can be quite enjoyable if you have the taste for it.

Dragon Age origins + awakening = if you do every side quest ingame and specially on a first time these 2 should give you atleast 100hours of content

Dragon Age 2 if you completed DA:O & Awakening

Fallout 3 & New Vegas, lots of stuff to do here and alot of exploring

2-3 hours/day is enough for WoW unless you want to Raid, the game doesnt reguire hours of farming, however I wouldnt recommend WoW, the endgame is too limited & the community sucks you should rather wait for Star Wars the old republic to come out than start WoW

and ofcourse speaking of SW:TOR if you havent, you should play Knights of the old republic 1 % 2, those are great RPG's eventho they are abit old
