I have the misfortune of knowing someone named, ahem, "LeGiiT x SNiiP3" I am most likely him off but I have done this before and then he just bugs me the next day about it, and of course his bio is "All I do in my life are girls" no surprise there though,

My gamertag is "Emu Explorer" not the greatest but it was just something stupid I can up with really quickly, but then I get these idiots who are like "YOU EXPLORE EMUS?!?!? HURHURHUR!!!!" luckily I don't play multilayer games ever.

I do use letters in my gamertag but they don't look to bad. My game tag is simple VKM B3RNB4UM. It's just VKM and my last name.

This is why I help my friends come up with gamertags: otherwise they have a tendency to pick something already taken and they stick with it. I'm original enough to come up with stuff other people aren't using. (Possibly because I don't get hung up on what's "cool" or "in"; I just pick something that sounds good.)

And if you hate stupid gamertags and usernames, avoid Steam. The people are, in my experience, better than the Xbox Live crew, but some of the names are just terrible.

I dunno, I figure if you have a dumbass name, you have a dumbass name. If you wanna make it something generic or stupid or obscene or niche, that's your bag. I wanted to go with something that appealed to me, as the Jericho 941 is my favorite handgun, and my gamertag is Jericho FMJ...

But if you want to advertise to the world that your thing is sniping people in as epic a manner as possible, you go right the hell ahead. Even if you do have to put z's and stuff in between the words.

I've seen some pretty disgusting names, mind screwing enigma name like the Paranoid panda thing. They all have bad mouths on MW2 and COD4. Strangely enough, much more polite, friendly people that contribute appear in my other games: COD WaW and Halo 3. Incidentally my gamertag is also just my name. None of that X_3PikkSniperZZZ_X bullcrap.

Because there was nothing else and he was desperate, my cousin was going to name his PSN online account "Suited Kiwi." It was PSN, so I didn't mind.

I see no reason to hate either of those. They're much better than the ones Forgotten Pr0digy listed. I have friends called "meowmeowkitty," and "mrbojangles" and those names totally fit them.
