ODST

I still cannot get over the fact I payed full price for half a game.
It's not a game.
It's a fucking expansion pack.

Even Bungie stopped calling it that BEFORE it came out. Not all of us have the money to blow on pricey "expansion packs".

Modern Warfare 2. I hated WaW, and I hated COD4 for all the unbalanced perks, unbalanced weapons, shitty spawns, shitty kill streak rewards that encouraged people to camp and got you cheap kills, a shitty community, shitty maps that favour one side, terrible servers always resulting in "host ended game" or something, skilless sniping, shitty single players that could be finished in a day and the ability to spray all you like.

I don't know why I bought Modern Warfare 2. I guess my friends kinda pushed me into buying it. It was even worse than the two before it. COD has gone to shit since COD2.
This. I never had a CoD before, and with all the hype surrounding it I thought it must be good, but the online is full of campers. When 15 out of the 18 people are camping the game company has failed. I tend to run around the map hoping to get some people to come out of they're hiding spots, but whenever one does I inevitably get sniped by another 8.

lol, its an expansion pack? I didn't even bother buying it because I was so fed up after halo 3.

I guess the real question is how long are 360 fan boys going to keep falling for it?... 60 bucks for 5 hours of game play. Who gives a fuck if you added more bloom lighting.... LOOK HOW GOOD I CAN SIMULATE DIRT!

KoTor and Mass Effect. I am not a fan of BioWare games because I am more into gameplay that narrative-driven games. I mean, its fine if you like helping some preaching goo-blob shut up in the citadel, fine by me. But I prefer just playing a damn game. I cry everytime I have to leave the Animus in Assassins Creed II. But, back on topic, at least I only spent $5 on KotoR and $20 on Mass Effect.

4)psychonauts

I know I'm going to recieve a lot of hate for this, but let me explain:

[spoiler/]I just finished playing brutal legend, and I loved it.

I remembered Yahtzee saying that he didn't like brutal legend, but he loved psychonauts, so I decided to buy it from the live marketplace, and it was pretty good through most of it, and it was fun solving the problems using my wit, and my psychic powers.

Until I got to the last level.

Then it turned into a test of how long I could keep myself from eating my own fingers in frustration.

[spoiler/]that fucking kid just would stay in one place so I had to keep chasing him and his fat fucking rabbit, and every time it just gets harder to get to him.

And I know I'm going to recieve even more hate for this as well, but yes, I did try using the cheat codes, and I still couldn't do it.
If anyone could help me out on this one, WITHOUT acting like a snarky asshole, I would be very grateful.
I ain't going to hate on you, because you're damn right about the meat circus. And it only gets worse after you pass the chase-the-rabbit (cheats won't help. Only practice will) part and get to the obligatory clock-tower-type part of the level.

All I can say is judge the whole game, not just the last level. Nowadays I can do meat circus in my sleep, but only because I've done it so many times that I SAW IT IN MY SLEEP FOR WEEKS.

And I still love the hell out of it (and I'm one of the ones who did even before Yahtzee man-crushed on it (it was actually what got me watching ZP) but yeah... I feel your pain.

i didn't enjoy mass effect that much ....
it was an alright game but its just so .... meh

*puts on flame shield*

the story wasn't a written master piece that every one claim it is and the combat was tedious >.> . most of the exploration was a turn off because the side missions and planets were completely boring so idk i think it wasn't worth the money.

i like sand box style rpg games but it was just a let down .. hope the 2nd one is better then this.

btw took me 4 try's to pass the bunny part on psychonauts wasn't too difficult but i think it is THE best game i ever played..... game-play wise it was amazing

I bought the first Dynasty Warriors Gundam Game because I had never heard of the Dynasty warriors series and had liked a few Gundam games before. WTF is this shit? was my reaction after fifteen minutes.

I think I agree with a few people who said it. ODST was a waste and always will be no matter what. Don't buy it.

I'll go with GTAIV. It just removed the series from everything I enjoyed about San Andreas. Once I got past the "hehe playing as a Russian is funny" and enjoying the new driving mechanics it just seemed dull and lacking in content outside of the main storyline. Killing endless amounts of civilians and getting drunk with your loser of a cousin is only fun for so long.

Well, to simply not like a game because of faulty game play or a lacking plot is understandable...but to hate a game, just because of its difficulty, is the equivalent of buying a cheeseburger from McDonalds, and then suing them because the cheeseburger wasn't in liquid form.

It's a video game, it's supposed to be challenging.

I regret buying Ninety Nine Nights on the Xbox 360. That game was basically Final Fantasy, only ground up in a blender, watered down, and then frozen and used to beat me mercilessly over the head. It was a Japanese button-mashing piece of shit, and one of the worst games that I have ever played...let alone payed for.

Rainbow Six Vegas
Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising
Fallout 3

However, I have not regretted CoD MW2 or ODST. Call me crazy.

So you'll explain about Psychonauts but not about not wanting the wii?

Er...
If you must have an explanation, please refer to Yahtzee's reviews of: Madworld, Wii sports resort, and the conduit.

also the fact that there is no possible way to make a good fps on the wii.
...What about metoid prime?
