Jazz Jackrabbit Advance. I was so looking forward to that game, and not only did it turn out not to be a port of the actual, real Jazz Jackrabbit, it was nothing like the original. It was just another generic GBA sidescroller with JJ characters thrown in after a quick-and-dirty redesign to make them look more like StarFox characters, and on top of that it wasn't even a good generic GBA sidescroller. Just fuck that game.

I saw a game on sale at EB called The Hell In Vietnam and I thought it would be good. While I was purchasing this game, I thought to myself "Why have I not heard of this game before?? Surely it couldn't be that bad"

Well I was wrong. It was utter poo, and I wasted good money on it.

Nope. Not a port, not a sequel, not even in the same spirit of things. It didn't even play like Jazz, which is closer to Sonic The Hedgehog than your generic platform action-adventure. Just a shitty generic sidescroller with badly-redesigned characters tacked on.

C&C Tiberium Wars. Worse than Generals and Red Alert 2. They made so many old mistakes in this game, it's just pathetic.

SSB Brawl. I was so hyped up for this shit just to find out it was shit game. No! It's not because I have high standards, it's because there are so many glaring flaws that I couldn't even get into it if my life depended on it.

Pokemon Pearl. Talk about rinse and repeat. I even prefer the original games to Pearl, it was so shallow.

umm this may be because i didnt play the origenal metroids(i was poor when the NES was out then got a sega so i missed out on the first few) and instead got what to me was one of the best games ever made metroid prime for the gamecube but i thought metroid other M was horrible.(i rented didnt buy thank god) i could ***** about the story but that i can get through if game play is solid but its not its clunky and just plane bad i mean i liked the 3rd person veiw with the platforming but not the no moveing FPS. IDK maybe i got spoiled by playing prime first......

OT:fallout3 im sorry big world doesnt make up for bad story in an RPG not to mention i dont like getting lost for 3 hours only to be attacked by a super mutant.....(this comes from a guy who bought Too Human at full price...yeah i went there)

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed on the Wii, Soul Calibur 4, Super Smash Brothers Brawl. This is mainly why I buy yesterday's games at $20 or so dollars. I will only pay full price if I either really want the game or it looks really promising and is a type of game I like.

Many people like it, but I personally think that it's one of the worst multiplayer games I've ever bought, despite the fact that there's 256 people in a match. The game is just so woefully unimpressive on every front other than player count that it got incredibly boring incredibly fast.

Oh yeah, I heard that it had some balance issues and the community in it really messed up the 'team' aspect of it.

I can honestly say I've never payed out of pocket for a game I didn't enjoy very much. However when I first got a PS2 my parents bought King's Field: The Ancient City as a gift for me. They payed full price for it, and it was shit. I wound up letting a friend borrow it, who hated it so much he just left it lying around out of the case and let his dog chew on the case (I told him beforehand that he could). When he later traded his PS2 for an XBox and some games for it, he got a whopping 5 cents store-credit for the game. Yeah, between the condition it was in and how bad it was, that was actually a fair deal.

On recommendation from this site and a couple of friends, Orange Box. Then again, when a game is hyped up to Jesus-like proportions, it's pretty easy to be disappointed.
