I recommend Deus Ex Human Revolution (and the original, don't bother with DX2), Half-Life (you can play the Black Mesa instead if you like), Half-Life 2, Evochron Mercenary (I have a video tutorial series for this game in my profile under youtube), and both Portal games.

Commandos 2: Men of Courage
It's only 5 bucks on Steam, and it's one of the most fun RTS games I've ever played

If a game has a console version, such as Deus Ex: Human Revolution, then odds are I have it. I am after PC exclusives, because I have a lot of friends I play console games with plus my brothers etc. Plus, got that before I had this computer.

Lots of good games listed.

Never winter Nights 1/2 if you're into role playing.

Garry's Mod

Dark Souls (With a controller, as the PC is cheaper with moar content)

Guild Wars 2 is a good MMO

Borderlands 2 looks rad

War of Roses is coming out soon, looks good,

Of course, watch steam for sales, you can save tons.

Catchable: minty fresh
I have Dark Souls on my Xbox, which from what I heard the PC version has issues, just got Borderlands 2 today as well for Xbox to play with the people I live with.

Guild Wars 2 is already on my list but I will look up this War of Roses game, thanks for the recommendations :)

I just want to say thank you all for the recommendations. I have a huge list to look through now and will be playing quite a few PC games in the near future!
