I Still Play Pokemon...

I play pokemon. One of my favourites is Gallade also (along with Heracross, Lanturn and others)
I have been playing from the start.
My opinion to why People seem to prefer the earlier ones is that Red/blue is probably nostaglia and gold/silver were made to be sequels and not random short standalones with the latest generations.

for soulsilver I have Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Ampharos, Espeon and Dragonite but I have Mew as a 7th
for Sinnoh I have Torterra, Infernape, Empoleon, Luxray, Staraptor and Dialga
for Kanto I have Bulbasaur, Charizard, Squirtle, Lapras, Snorlax annd Pichu(at time of writing)
and for Hoenn I have Grovyle, Blaziken, Marshtomp, Gardevoir, Gallade(IT COUNTS) and Glailie(again at time of writing)
Yeah I OBVIOUSLY am still playing, in Diamond I currently have 130(rough estimate) pokémans so yeah......

Yeh, i only have Buizel because Floatzel is just erghhh! His stats may be good but he looks awful, and Buizel is much more cute =3

I was hoping for him to evolve into a bad ass Otter/fish thing, when my first one evolved i was really disappointed, and got another Buizel right away.

Probably, I do tend to lose a lot of p2p battles. I played the old games on one of these sexy beasts. Everyone else in class had little Gameboy pockets, no connectors to me. So I never really got into battling friends.

I still play Pokemon! I have a habit of taking out my old red version every day and playing for a few hours, been doing that ever since it came out ^_^ I'm actually very surprised the battery's not dead yet ...

I can't stand any of the pokemon games beyond the Kanto generation (the first ones, red blue/green and yellow). I don't know why. I guess I can play the Johto games a little bit, but they aren't as fun. And all the ones after that are shitty in my opinion. Huh. I wonder why I think that?

... oh wait, that's right, it's because none of the other games are glitchy. Sure I love collecting and fighting and building the perfect most epic team, but the glitches are really the only reason I still play that game. Exploring Glitch City, seeing how Missingno reacts to different stimuli, etc. And of course, searching for new glitches or glitch combinations that might not have been discovered yet. These things are just fascinating to me.

Probably the same reason I still play Zelda: Link's Awakening. Sure it's an epic game, but I would have gotten bored with it long ago if it wasn't for the select glitch ^_^

My favorite Eeveelution is definitely Umbreon. Best mixed wall in my opinion. My moveset on Umbreon is literally designed for the sole purpose of angering people. It has Mean Look, Toxic, Moonlight, Confuse Ray. If something gets put out that I can't directly deal with I just poison stall it to death, lol. It's such an obnoxious strategy.

That sound's like an interesting build, but remember, there's a special place in hell for people who use Confuse Ray.

Yeah, just have that on for now. I alternate that move a lot. I would post my diamond FC, but I never go on diamond anymore. Moved all of my teams to HG. If you want to battle sometime then I'm up for it man.

.Also, does anyone have any opinions on the new Black and White games coming out next year? I think that they look really stupid to be honest. The new pokemon look like they were all made in a single day by a class of kindergardeners. This might just be early speculation based on videos I've seen, but this is my opinion. Anyone disagree? Agree?

the videos show most of the stupid ones with two awesome ones (mole and mummy) but I have seen all of the new pokemon (and hate myself for that(I also already have picked my team)) and most of them are of the same style as the 4th generation so if you liked that generation you will like this generation but be prepared for a horrible looking pokemon the worst looking pokemon of all time. also my new favourite pokemon is in the 5th generation (bachuru) its the first stage of a electric tarantula and its basically a yellow ball of fur with four red pointed legs and four bug eyes and it's so cute your head will explode. so to sum up like the 4th gen with a few horrible mistakes and the cutest pokemon of all time.

I couldn't tell you. Sorry =/ just haven't done it in so long. I would try talking to one of the people on the bottom floor of a pokemon center though. I think thats your best bet.

Just looked up some of the new pokemon, and I take back what I said. They look cool. I think the quality of youtube videos might have messed up my view. Really excited for Shinbora. I like the moveset and he's got and the max Sp. Attack is 335 which is a pretty good stat. It also looks awesome. Also found my new physical wall. Desukan is a ghost type that can have a Defense of 427. Sounds like it might be a bit unbalanced.

Yeah I think what gave me that initial impression was the quality of youtube videos and the pokemon I've seen most of is rather stupid looking. I'm definitely looking forward to those games though. And I'm assuming the next games after Black and White are going to be Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remakes, just because that would follow the pattern. I definitely like the way the pokemon are in constant animation during battles though in Black and White so I'm hoping they keep doing that and continue to refine it so it looks even better. And maybe with the games after Black and White they would make the pokemon move differently based on like mood/item held or something. That would be pretty cool.

I would love a 3D Pokemon game. Even if it was on the Wii (which it would be), I would buy it. Like...similar to the DS ones but 3D. Would just be so much fun. Or if they made a Pokemon MMO. That would be super.

I play it all the time, currently my play time on SoulSilver is *checks playtime* 492 hours, 30 minutes. I just finished levelling a Porygon2 to 100, and it kicks ass. (Suck it Porygon-Z)

My team is Typhlosion, Meganium, Feraligatr, Milotic, Weavile and whatever Pokemon I'm currently levelling. If anyone wants a battle then I'll gladly accept (although chances are I'll lose), I haven't played against anyone for ages. My code is 0518-2581-2302
