Shh, shh, baby, it's okay, it's okay... *patpat* The British probably felt the same way when the americans murdered the "u" in colour. And then realised "Wait, we're the British. Fuck that, we'll do what we want."
Start talking to girls about sex, invariably they call me baby. Why am I cursed to baby-ness ._.

I agree 100%.

But these are all hypotheticals forever because the chances of me getting a boyfriend, nevermind laid, are fairly low due to a combination of high(ish) standards and some social anxiety and trust issues. The short story of which being, I've had a bad time with friends, why on earth would I give my heart to someone? :cccc /crawling in my skin these wounds they will not heal, etc, etc.
I'm sorry to hear that. I always try to look on the bright side, like things can suddenly become exponentially better. My trust's been shattered a few times, but... I move on, and try not to do the same to others.

I find some musicians sexy. I think I am attracted to sound as well as women. Wailing guitar is the best sound on the planet.

It should be spelled! My world is crumbling!

Anyway, what if your guy would ask for a threesome with a chick, but required no breast-fondling on your part, and he just wanted to pleasure two at once? Would that work?
you ask alot of odd questions....

I just don't get why women eschew the visual element. I'm sure with the tens of thousands of female erotica writers, at least one or two must have penned an erotica screenplay. Why isn't there a strong market there?
I don;t know....text gets the job done and its a hell of alot more discreet

To be fair... you got baby-fied when on the subject of spelling ;P

I'm not very optimistic. On good days I'm a realist with pessimistic leanings. Plus, while I haven't had many friendships in my life, all of them have ended poorly (the last one being REALLY bad, which I don't really want to get into). Although I do have a new set of friends, and things seem to be going well, so... who knows. I suppose I just need to find a guy I find attractive... that isn't totally unobtainable. Like the guy who plays Thor... or Robert Downey Jr.... or Tom Hiddlestone... I have a feeling I'm never going to get with them (and the first two are married anyways!).

You've already lost me.

The ratio of men and women that watch porn and play video games is almost the same (about 60:40 in both cases). This notion that porn is made for men is nothing more than feminist propaganda and actively works to ensure women are forever sexually unequal.

Notice the word "accepted". I think Vault is saying that's what's percieved as being, not that it actually is, the case. Sort of like how everyone says that women are bitchy while on their period, which is untrue.
[sub]I'm bitchy ALL the time[/sub].

Although on the subject of porn... I'd probably like it more if it was less annoying "oh god oh god mmnn ahhh god!" and more like... "romantic"? idk. I haven't watched a whole lot.

Another way to look at it is that comics are obviously marketed towards men (women tend to be very scantily clad and with larger bosoms, and tend to be in ridiculous poses to highlight that fact), even though there are plenty of women who read them.

Wow, those are some standards you have. I've been told I'm attractive, but... pretty sure the girl that told me that would walk over me to get to those guys.

And even friends can be dicks when you didn't even know they were. Once you find them out, it's a good thing to end it. Come on, optimism!

The men are all tall and masculine, wearing little more than skin tight outfits that show as much. They are either brave, boyish gentlemen or raw, aggressive animals, both classic examples of stereotypical attractions to women. There are plenty of men who read comics. What's your point? Women can like and enjoy comics with sexy heroines as much as men can the same with sexy male heroes.

The more people go on about gender differences, the more they exist.

What?

What you're saying is that, since grey exists, black and white cannot exist.

... OK.
YES! Finally someone who gets it. Because how can you be sure your notion of black is not really really really dark grey, and then you hold it up to some void which is actually black and go "Christ I've been wearing a grey shirt all this time and calling it black"!
... That is really bad logic. Just because you CLAIM you cannot be sure does not mean it doesn't exist. Failure to distinguish between existence claims and knowledge claims is a really basic logical problem with your argument.
Yeah, but whether or not extremes exist is irrelevant to my point, it's just a metaphor to explain more clearly.
You're claiming that extremes are not only common, but that there are commonly people at those extremes that never fluctuate. It's just nonsensical. When have you ever come across something so black-and-white and stable? Particularly when it's about something as complex as human sexuality.

Even if it's not provable, it's perfectly debatable. It doesn't warrant face-punching...

you got evidence to back this up? (not that I'm disputing any women watch porn..it would be rediculous to say otherwise)

yeah what she said

[quote/]Although on the subject of porn... I'd probably like it more if it was less annoying "oh god oh god mmnn ahhh god!" and more like... "romantic"? idk. I haven't watched a whole lot.
I think the Idea is that women get turned on more by the "emotional" side of things, the act alone isnt enough

like how a sex scene from a movie could be more of a turn on than porn...(then again I've barely watched any porn so I couldn't say...I remember back when I was like 14 my freind showed me some he had on his phone and I was like "that looks painful")

[quote/]Another way to look at it is that comics are obviously marketed towards men (women tend to be very scantily clad and with larger bosoms, and tend to be in ridiculous poses to highlight that fact), even though there are plenty of women who read them.
exactally....me being one of them

and this is the probelm

alot of the time ITS NOT THE SAME

the physical aspect of the body is somtimes only part of the turn on/attraction....a female reader often doesnt see a scantily clad man like a guy would see a scantily clad lady

like do you think a most women would find Kratos form god of war attractive? no...I'd wager alot of us would want that shit far away as possible

because *generally speaking* male and female sexualality is different

The men are built as POWER fantasies- what (generally) men want to BE
The women are built as SEXUAL fantacies- appealling to the (general) man's interest.

Take your psuedo-sciencey "but what if" WTFery and have a good day.

Sorry, that goes both ways. Don't try that argument. Or would you attempt to convince me that female shampoo stars beautiful, sexy women because they want men to buy it? Ha.

I am attracted to femininity, meaning most females, and sufficiently feminine men. I've scene quite a few traps and thought "you know what? don't care, still hot."

Okay dude, why don't you point to where I mention how common something is before this. Should be easy right if I claimed extremes were common?
I just realised you're not the original person I quoted at the beginning of all this, so actually we're arguing about some other guy's opinion:

RazadaMk2 said:
Actually, speaking as a bisexual, I want to punch you. For insulting every single one of my gay, and strait, friends by indicating that you know better about their sexualities then they do.
Implying that homosexuals and heterosexuals should be offended by the notion that their sexualities are more complex than a black-or-white dichotomy.

I'm not actually sure if you agree with this or not. If not, then you've spent this entire time arguing with someone you agree with and defending someone you don't.
