just wondering what games coming out in the future could take down COD in you pinion if battelfield 3 fails to do so.
you sir deserve a +1 for thatXyphon said:How about we stop trying to "de-throne" other games and focus on actually crafting an enjoyable experience?
Call of Duty is the big fish of the FPS gaming world. You can tell everyone just to enjoy what they are doing but some will still go for the one that has so far gotten away.Xyphon said:How about we stop trying to "de-throne" other games and focus on actually crafting an enjoyable experience?
when did i say cod is a beast also i never said i hated cod i think there ok but far from great and also at this point there just making the games for moneyTf2 H3aVy said:honestly, i think that you are looking at this all wrong, call of duty isn't a beast. call of duty is a product made for people to have fun and enjoy at there own free will. By the same token, the Call of Duty franchise does need to either go in a new direction or simply stop and have Infinity Ward and Treyarch pursue a different project. I personally would love to see a futuristic Call of Duty, and so would many other people, but what i'm getting at is, if you don't like the game or certain aspects just aren't for you, don't buy it. Get a game that you really enjoy like, in your case Battlefield 3.
I'd prefer stop hyping, overexposing, and forming rivalries/fandoms around games before they're even released; let the game succeed or fail on its own merits; and above all else, buying shitty titles on name recognition alone.Xyphon said:How about we stop trying to "de-throne" other games and focus on actually crafting an enjoyable experience?
i dont think people but cod because of the title recognition i think they buy because all of there friends are buying itEacaraxe said:I'd prefer stop hyping, overexposing, and forming rivalries/fandoms around games before they're even released; let the game succeed or fail on its own merits; and above all else, buying shitty titles on name recognition alone.Xyphon said:How about we stop trying to "de-throne" other games and focus on actually crafting an enjoyable experience?
Probably this.Saelune said:Maybe....just maybe....
both series will simply co-exist and continue to make sequals regardless of how much more money one makes over the other.
