A Gryphon...or a Kraken. Either way, I'm freakin' awesome.

A "Griffin" or "Griffon" or "Gryphon", however you spell it.

That is my name. So why not?>
You do know that the male gryphon didn't have wings, right?

OT: I'd have to go with Dragon too.

Well... call me Ms. Pandah then. Besides, I wasn't aware that sex would matter at this point...I mean, I'm a freakin' Gryphon. =P

So yeah, top that, all you vampires, werewolves, zombies and what have you.
That's all well and fine, but my critter of choice can turn into one of you. Just ask dear old Flemeth.

*Puts down axe*
Well, I did not do anything stupid, yet.
But....SPIKES!
According to a book on mythical creatures that I read once, yes.

Dragon.

Depending on the type of dragon, extent of their power, etc...
I mean, if I could get full shapeshifting or some sort of disguised form then I'd prefer it. Mostly I just want to be able to continue gaming.

That dragon's horde would be perfect to fund my gaming. And with the superior intellect and lifespan I could probably run full 25-man heroics on my own. I'd be the #1 progression guild in the world...of warcraft.

Dragons are overpowered, they can live for hundreds if not thousands of years and many of them in many fictions have the ability to shapechange and "get-it-on" with any sentient species they want. I wouldnt even be limited in my morality, I can be good, evil, whatever suits my fancy. And collecting mounds of treaures appeals to the hobbyist in me.

Though the occassional knight riding up to my home to try and slay me would be a nuisance, as would those whelps who want to become "dragon riders" and try and put a saddle on me. And dont even get me started with "dragon bone armor" or "dragon blood elixers".

And to think the mortal races of fantasy genres call dragons monsters...

A useful ability, no doubt about it. However, seeing how I already have (admittedly rare) bouts of identity crisis, being able to change into anyone or anything would most likely make my mind shatter at some point. So no thank you, I'll pass on that. ^^°

An angel, maybe? Absolute certainty that you're on the right side of things has got to be kind of neat.
