A Hydra (the land kind, because deep sea is scary) or Hecatoncheires, either way I wouldn't be lonely.

I'm going to be predictable and say vampire. However, I want to be a Twilight style vampire with two conditions. One, I do NOT sparkle. Two, I can still drink human blood. I've actually tasted human blood and it tastes quite nice. A bit salty, but otherwise really delicious. And I can say truthfully that I'm being deadly serious there.

Anyway, non-sparkly Twilight vampire means I'm able to go out in sunlight, without being laughed at/flamed. I get pretty much all the traditional vampire strengths and no weaknesses, with the only way to kill me being to rip me apart and then burn the individual pieces (has to be that order too, fire doesn't otherwise then hurt me).

Incidentally, I've attempted to write a vampire novel based on this type of vampire. However, although the characters are good (I've been developing them in my head for ages and they're NOT Mary Sues) and th story's okay, I got writer's block and scrapped it. However, a short story series (Digs) that I posted and then gave up on at this site is now at the forefront of my mind, so I'm probably going to end up rewriting that but making a few basic changes, and changing aspects to make it a paranormal style novel (since I've recently been coming up with great ideas for such a style)...

Oh, by the way, no need to worry. The blood I drank was my own. I realise this doesn't sound much more reassuring, but it's only if I scratch myself or something and there's a little bit of blood. Sucking on the wound helps sterilise it apparently, so I end up drinking blood that way. I'm not psycho. Seriously. As unlikely as that seems...

If by creature you mean being, then a witch (or warlock if you want to be all unofficial about it). Not the new-age wiccan variety, no. I'm talking honest-to-goodness, lore-induced witchcraft. I'd probably fashion my powers after a mage with shapeshifting/blood magic specializations and a maxed out primal set (yes, I've been playing a lot of Dragon Age). With that I could roam the land as any animal I wished to be, wield the power of nature and the elements to my very whim, and afflict terrible curses and damage on those I dislike (albeit for a grizzly but awesome price). I would be content with this existence.

If by creature you mean beast or nonhumanoid being, then I'd go with a nighthaunt, simply for looks:

Or a dragon, so I could say those famous five words and mean them.

...

Fuck you, I'm a dragon.

I say those words all the time, but it would be nice to have them be truthful.

A nymph(omaniac)?

Nah. I don't know. Probably a banshee, because I get to stroll around the British Isles scaring the shit out of people because the sight of me means they're going to die.

Dragon.
I've had a liking for them since I could walk. Dragons are most often depicted as hugely intelligent creatures with one or more kickass magical abilities, an insanely long lifespan and a position right at the top of the food chain due to their physical attributes and biological traits. They are unopposed masters of the skies and even on the ground they're a damn tough nut to crack.
So yeah, top that, all you vampires, werewolves, zombies and what have you.

I would definetly be a Phoenix, it no contest. Not only can you fly and create fire but, you can never die.
