If you could bring one game character on an epic adventure, who would it be?

Minsc from the Baldur's Gate series. Although he would no doubt get annoying, it is god damn Minsc! As long as Dynaheir is dead, and he has no more connections to useless witches.

"We're all heroes: you and boo and I. Hamsters and rangers everywhere, REJOICE!"

Best fun ever.

Ratchet from Ratchet and Clank. Guy's a walking armory, and a glove that shoots disco balls, is always a good thing.
Ooooooooh yes. Not to mention that he's a professional in that, and actually knows how do you go on an epic adventure properly without getting yourself killed. He's also my pick in that situation.

Probably Tali'Zorah from the Mass Effects. She's able to defend herself well, has impressive tech skills, and is quite intelligent. She's also cute, likable, and easy to get along with. Which would be an important aspect, considering things wouldn't work well if one couldn't get along with the folk you're bringing with you. Thus her combat skills, her tech skills, and her likable personality makes a great combination for bringing along with on an epic adventure. At least, in my opinion obviously.
Beat me to it. Exactly that.

Otherwise I'd go with Wrex, he's like reptilian Han Solo and would only occasionally point a gun at my head.
Damn it. Both of you beat me to it.

It would also be fun bringing Garrus to a crime ridden area of New York City and let him have do what he does:D

Dante, if he can let me borrow his brother's sword. Yamato.

Or my Saints Row 2 character. He has infinite ammo. (Legitmately.)

Samus Aran.

it would be awesome........
Yes it would.

However I am tempted to choose someone like the Prince from the first Prince of Persia just cuz he can rewind time, do a ton of acrobatic stuff and make some pretty good conversation.

Great choice. I was gonna say Auron, and although the guy's an absolute rock, I think his grumpiness would get on my nerves.
To be fair he was only grumpy because he was dead for his entire screen time. Personaly I'd choose Wakka; cool, funny and throws a mean Bitzball.

Imagine how confused you would be in battle with the Prince rewinding time and you have to stab the same guy three different times.

Oh that would be too much fun, I loved the badassery of his loyalty mission is Mass Effect 2

...Come to think of it, I loved pretty much anything Garrus did in that game

Let's face it. We all regret not leaving Ashley after remembering how awesome Kaiden was and how ugly Ash is compared to Miranda.

I would take Joker (Mass Effect 2) If we have to drive a ship somewhere (because he's hot and smexy) Chris Redfield (Resident Evil 5) Because of his mucels, and yes, i know their not from a videogame, the Michaels from DoomsDay Arcade :]

Chris would die in the very first instance that required you to run and shoot.

Tali would be my choice of the recent games I played but gonna try and be a bit more original....

Duke Nukem. He would show me a good time for sure and be the best kinda friend to have for a night on the town not to mention a great drinking buddy. Wonder if he plays poker?

Garrus Vakarian.

Why? Because he's Garrus Vakarian. If I'm going on an epic adventure, I need someone that can watch my back. He's helped save the universe from annihiliation twice. Those are some pretty solid credentials. Besides, he endeared himself to me early on in the original Mass Effect when his solution to resolving a hostage situation was to headshot the hostage taker. He seems to have the kind of personality and personal philosophy I could get on with well too, willing to bend or break the rules if it's necessary to do so to do the right thing.

Darn!! XD Ok...How about Baird from Gears of War to replace Chris?
