Have Leon Trotsky reveal Lenin's note about replacing Stalin to the Commissariat, to see if that would change the result of the power struggle between Trotsky and Stalin, and, if Trotsky did win, whether or not he would have been able to make communism work better than Stalin did.

Constantine never converts to Christianity.
Well that is disturbing since because of that he supported tolerance of all religions with the Edict of Milan which proclaimed religious tolerance of all religions throughout the empire.
However, the result would also be that Christianity would not have spread so far throughout Europe. When the Roman Empire fell, it would be interesting to see how Europe developed without Christianity to unite them. Honestly, religious tolerance fell apart after the fall of Rome anyway, so the loss of it during the last hundred years or so of the Roman Empire isn't that bad, really.

Have the Germans launch Operation Sea Lion. which would mean no D-day and no American involvement in the war, besides supporting the Nazi's like they already were. No western front would give Germany a better shot against the Russians and they may have been able to take Moscow. Hell by today you could be looking at a unified Europe and possibly further. probably little problems in the middle east, might not have been that bad of a thing...

Good one. My guess would be that China's large population ends up being nearly impossible to govern with a slower, less centralized form of government such as democracy, and either breaks apart, or exists in a significantly weakened state.

I would make sure the English soldier who spared Hitler in WWI actually shot him. Seriously look it up, it's a true story.

i enjoy this one most so far. a different almost positive spin on an alternate reality.
instead killing him off / capturing him etc. Let the man into art school and see what he makes of his life from there. I had a similar thought when i found out that Hitler wanted to get into art school recently.
I just wonder how the person we consider to be one of the most evil men in history would have fared if his circumstances were different. If he was given a steady job, if he never got politically involved, would his hatred and radical views still possess him to try and murder an entire people group? would his personality have always made it an inevitability that his life would end in a crazed bloodbath, even though social status would attempt to suppress it?
If so, then how many Adolf Hitlers are running around today. People who, if they were given power, would commit atrocities so horrible, that virtually everthing about them would be cursed and shunned for the next 50 years (When was the last time you met an Adolf, or saw someone with a toothbrush mustache? the swatstika was actually a good luck symbol before he inverted it, now it's never used.)
It's an interesting thought experiment.
I would give his father good parenting lessons first...then the art lessons might even be Hitler's own choosing. Lead a thirsty horse to water, and see what happens 0.o

So... you two wanted Hitler to win?

Rome making the final push into industrialization at the height of its power. It was poised to do so for centuries but lacked a few necessary discoveries (which they could have reasonably invented). We had to wait until the Industrial Revolution for technology to get the kick in the arse it needed bring in the modern age (thank you, Dark Ages, you rock. Ass.). Think of this happening fifteen hundred years ago when Roman culture was the norm. I can't even begin to imagine the repercussions. It'd be sweet to check out.

I'd like to know what happened if the Atomic Bombs were not dropped and what would happen if they were not created. I'm quite curious as to what other events would follow.
Their wouldn't be much of a Japan left. Look at the Japanese death tolls for all those tiny little islands in the pacific then imagine what a mainland invasion would do to their population.

Bible and all its books are never written.

Stop the Norman invasion of Britian, in 1066

Block the Russian sale of Alaska (That'd make the Cold War all kinds a twitchy)

Don't cancel the Avro Arrow

Have Hitler die during WW1

Help the Czarist forces win the Russian Revolution

Have Castro's revolution fail.

For calling yourself father time, you don't have a good recollection of names do ya? lol.

I think I'd advance technology at some point in history 1000 years ore more. To make the world we live in today steam punk.

Darn, I was ninja'd on saving the dinosaurs... hmm...

I'll go for a top 3 then;

1. Alter the evolutionary path of some dinosaur/reptile (a pterosaur, maybe) to turn it into a dragon.

2. Prevent the spread of Christianity to the British Isles. Druidism FTW!

3. Prevent the death of Project Orion [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Orion_(nuclear_propulsion)]. SPAAAAAAAAAAAACE!

I would go back and destroy the work on the internal combustion engine, or elimiate it's invention or mass production or delay by 50 years or something like that.

I would like to see what modern steam trains would be like on the mainlines. And steam powers cars :D

STEAMPUNK WOOP WOOP!

YES! My least favorite emperor and a huge hypocrite to boot. The dark ages may not have been the same.
Really? With options like Caligula, Nero, and Domitian, Constantine ends up your least favorite? Interesting.

build a united Clan of the Native Americans that were technologically advanced enough to fight off the invasion and settlement of their lands from the beginning. no colonization in the Americas by Europeans at all.

or if the Persia empire never failed and it took over all of Europe
