The quake wars 360 port, the worst of them all, or maybe the quake 4 360 port which was SO BADD, it ran better on my 10 year old discount computer.

Thats not really why I'd want it gone. Yes it's a good game and all, but there are games incredibly better who got pushed aside because of Cod4. When an unoriginal shooter with some development methods that made me want to scream got GOTY over games like Unreal Tournament 3, STALKER, Bioshock, and Crysis it makes me wish the game was never created.Eldritch Warlord post=9.70087.680990 said:

I would've said Halo, but that would have caused console shooter to have had a step back (online and offline). Of course console gaming has also simplified shooters to become more "console-friendly". I dunno, it's a double-edged sword.
Because of that my choice would be...damn this is hard. I'd have to say World of Warcraft. I really enjoyed the Warcraft mythos quite a bit until this thing came around. I mean I remember reading that thick booklet of Warcraft 3 and was amazed at the world. It really gave depth to the world by explaining many events like the creation of Earth and whatnot. When WoW came around they threw all their background stories and said, "Let's fuck it!". I haven't played much of it, but my brother told me everything. It completely cheeses up the world and makes no sense whatsoever. I'm really disappointed in you Blizzard. Hopefully they'll make it up with Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2.

Wow...A lot of Halo hate. I've got no problems with anyone not liking Halo, but when people say they hate a game just because it's made gaming popular among people who can't be called "gamers", that annoys me. It's like when people love a band while it's un-heard of outside of their hometown, but as soon as they get famous and can start making money doing what they love, people say they hate them, even if the music stayed the same.
Anyway, enough of that off-topic non-sense. I'd wipe Final Fantasy X-2 out of existence. I'd actually like to slap whoever thought it would be a good idea to make an FF dress-up game. Which is essentially what that was.

Hmmm I thought the Job system was a dress up system and that has been around since the old school Final Fantasy's, just because you're switching jobs in Sailor Moon style doesn't make it some dress up game that Itagaki would of made. Besides, I think FFX-2 had one of the best battle systems to ever grace a Final Fantasy game, I'd defiently keep it.
Anyway, what game would I wipe from existance? Soul Calibur IV, if not only for the fact it features three Star Wars characters. Wipe it, then release it again with new and original characters. Why can't we have a character with a giant Warhammer? or perhaps a Battle axe? It blows my mind how they can just miss the obvious.

ET on the atari is bad, but it's not the worst game ever made. The development time was only 5 weeks in an era where making a game like they WANTED to make, would have taken months, and it was a one guy project.
In the end, the game was just boring. It was playable, and completable, but very very boring, considering the source material. But it was a full game, with a beginning and an end, in a time when that in itself was an accomplishment, as most games were just played for high scores.

I concur. X-2 was pure disgrace. My motto is that you should NOT create sequels to an FF game, it goes against their very tradition and premise of the entire FF series. Prequels are possible at least if the main game is set up well for one.jvm23fool post=9.70087.681383 said:
