If you could have anyone who ever lived narrate your life, who would it be?

I'd go for Mervyn Peake and have him overnarrate every mundane thing I do to a ridiculous degree.

Or better yet, my best friend. He made insulting me into an art form and it'd be interesting to see how long he can go on before running out of ideas.
